Our country would be much better today had the Senator not been "swift-boated" by Dubya in 2000 in SC. Go Sen. McCain.

Hate to mention this but don''t put all the blame on dubya. To some people, the swiftboats were a naked political attack ad without credible basis--the use of uncorroborated "eyewitness" testimonials by a group paid for by partisan interests, released at a time to make the most impact and therefore should be suspect. To these people, it was easy to dismiss. Yet the attack ad swayed voters enough to make a difference.

This will happen time and time again and not just during elections, either, when so many people are uneducated about the requirement to establish truth with evidence. In a country where the culture of God and moral values conspires to exclude the exercise of critical thought, what can you expect?

Since George W. Bush is easily the worst president in the last 100 years, and perhaps the worst in American history, the election of ANYONE besides Bush is likely an improvement. Hopefully, we will have a dramatic improvement over Bush. This most likely will be a Democrat since the Republicans have generally supported Bush in his disasterous policies.

I take it you support the WORST PRESIDENT in our history. Maybe you can explain something to me since you stupid remark about Hillary has NO weight at this point. What happened to the Surplus and who''''s paying the INTEREST on the debt you folks ran up? By the way those Tax Cut''''s were put into place for a reason spelled out by Sir Lies-A-Lot. Those cuts expire for the same reason. WE NO LONGER HAVE A SURPLUS STUPID! WE ARE IN THE RED and MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS OF OUR JOBS NO LONGER IN THIS NATION. Now even you should understand that WE the working guy can NOT pay the freight on this ship IF you clowns keep giving the Rich the money and NONE comes back to us!! Got it??
