"More of what this nation does not need, the media assisting the "poodles" in the [Iditarod], the Whippet and the Greyhound. All 17 candiates are not worth a single line let alone a article."

A team of French Poodles HAS competed in the Iditarod. That"s no mush - they really did. I read that once.

The poodle is actually a macho breed, bred originaly for hunting.

Remember this little known fact the next time you"re on Jeopardy.

"During Hillary Rodham Clinton''s 60th birthday Thursday night, Elvis Costello led the audience in singing "Happy Birthday, Mrs. President."

A parody of Marilyn Monroe"s notorious performance for JFK.

Very good. Great sense of humor.

She"s going to be our next President. Choke on it, Hillary-haters.

CBS Poll: Majority Of Dems Back Clinton

As a Republican, this is good news.

Are you proposing that Romney (who believes in magic underwear) or Guiliani (who moved his mistress in with his family) are any better?

This campaign is akin to needing a cardioligist and only having plastic surgeons from which to choose.....

I became political at an early age. I recall candidates actually answering questions during debates instead of segwaying into an excerpt from a canned campaign speech.

America has become intellectually lazy and distracted. We will again end up with the candidate who is most effectively marketed rather than the best leader for the country.

Look at the marketing of Bush for example. He was marketed as a "uniter". He was marketed as a "compassionate conservative". He was marketed as not being a "nation builder". All could not be farther from the truth.

Unfortunately, we will get what we deserve.

formrusmc, Just my point. As our senator we know first hand she''s a liar. Not to mention I fear a dem in the WH could leave this nation wide open to illegals. On the other hand the GOP is just another breath of stale air. The people both parties are pushing on the voters I don''t think would appeal to most Independents.
