ALGore and Leo Dicaprio blame Bush, Rove, and global warming :) Where's Sean Penn when you need him? Oh yeah, he's in Argentina sticking his tongue in Chavez's mouth. Way to go, losers! - Reply to this comment

Condumism, Why don't you do us all a favor and take your contempt to Ukraine;
YOu GOPigs hate facts, don't you? You greedy, arrogant *** are so full of yourselves, that you're even pissing away the future of your children, leaving them with insurmontable debt, and the knowledge that their parents layed it all upon them. The best thing you GOPigs could do for America is have a mass suicide party. Then you would be a realpatriot as your monicker insinuates. Otherwise, you FASCIST PIGS are not welcome in America anymore. - Reply to this comment
- I prefer Ron Pauls message of bringing the troops home now, balance the budget and sound monetary policies. That must be done before America goes broke.
I do not think Americans has to be afraid of not beeing able to defend their country, with an army stronger than all armies in the world put together and with 300 million civilians armed to their teeth, I would think twice before trying to invade USA. - Reply to this comment
- Condumism,
Why don't you do us all a favor and take your contempt to Ukraine; maybe you can help the Orange revolution to thrive with your condescension and self-righteousness. - Reply to this comment
- And this poll is supposed to be scientific? When asked about which Republican candidate they support(question 34) the responder is only given the names of McCain, Giuliani, Romney, and Fred Thompson. If they support a different candidate they have to specifically state which one. Thats not a very fair way to ask the question.
And of course Giulaini is going to win if 38% of the people you ask were democrats. That doesn't help much in the primaries. - Reply to this comment
- Is Mudrose paid for commenting on the CBS boards?
He/she is posting every time I've looked on these boards.
That seems like a fun job. - Reply to this comment
- Cons will support the Terrorist candidates like Gulliani because Cons live in fear and are TERRIFIED themselves! This fear mongering works for those that live in fear based upon their self-centered lives. For example, all cons I know didn't leave their homes for one full week after 9/11. They must feel so guilty from their support of the self-centered, war mongering GOP that they apparently have every resaon to live in GUILT, or I meant fear for their self-centered, greed filled, braindead lives. I'm sure that I would feel guilty too if I voted for greed instead of what is best for America. Because of these guilt ridden, paranoid fools that vote for fascism instead of American Democracy, America now spends over 17% of its GDP on health care alone. American's life span is now in steady decline, now ranking 42nd. American's have been dumbed down to the point that it is clearly a nation of Zombies, or the living dead. Yep, if I voted Repuglicon I would live in fear, too! I am so glad that I have a second home in Kharkov, Ukraine. Besides owning real estate in the USA, it's the best investment that I've ever made in my life because it's so nice to get away from the Land of Zombies.

- fredgrad2000,
According to polls the public favors generic democratic solutions to prblems across the board so apparently the moveon.org positions are sweeping middle america.
What you seem to be saying is that Rudi will win by pretending to be a democrat. The problem is that he's contributing his own share of pandering and flip-flopping. He & Romney & Hillary aare all cut from the same cloth.
The surge may work but that won't make the Iraqi government work and ultimately, if Iraqization of the war doesn't take place in the next year to the extent that the public can see us on the way out the Republicans will suffer regardless of who their nominee is. - Reply to this comment
- Prinzowhales,
We've heard that speil before, from the Nader folks who succeeded in coronating George Bush because Al Gore & John Kerry were "no different".
Reality is a bit more complex than you make it out to be. I see a vast difference between the 2 parties.
What do you suppose Paul or Gravel or Kucinich could get done better than the others? Maybe Kucinich can perform his ventriloquist act with his wooden dummy like he used to do for Cleveland schoolchildren. Maybe Gravel can accomplish something in the White House because he certainly didn't get much done in the Senate. Maybe Ron Paul can wait and see what Iran plans to do with the nukes once they get them. - Reply to this comment
- The Dems are in serious trouble for 2008 if current trends continue. Those current trends being 1) Their "top tier" running as fast as they can for the MoveOn.org wing of the party's vote (which is so far outside the mainstream of American voters its ridiculous), 2) Giuliani, a moderate Republican, leads the GOP nomination contest; Giuliani will win far more independents than a Dem nominee who has 10 months of looney left compliant votes and quotes to backpedal from in the general election (since we all know that the Dems either have to lie to the "netroots" or the general public since the two groups' stances on virtually everything are substantially different), and 3) The "Surge" shows progress, which of course the MSM will continue to deny, but even the Brookings Institute and Senators like Dick Durbin (hardly a war supporter or Bush ally!) have to note certain progress. Iraq is still a mess and a war that in hindsight we shouldn't have fought, but Iraq getting even measureably better, combined with the far left run of the Dem candidates and a Giuliani GOP nomination (Giuliani really is the anti-Bush in GOP terms, which is a plus for any GOP candidate in 2008 - not beholden to the religious right, socially very moderate to liberal, well-spoken, and a northerner) spells trouble for the Dems in 2008.

- Thank you Prinzowhales.
Sadly, most votes will likely be bought by the big-money supported "frontrunners" of both parties. - Reply to this comment
- There are three candidates among candidates of the two major parties who will make a difference: Ron Paul, Mike Gravel and Mike Kucinich. If one of them don't win, then the Establishment War Pig Police State wins and you can look forward to more wars, open borders and the North American Union and the further gutting of the Constitution. I don't care what the polls show for Dr. Paul or the other two--if you are sick of the way this country is going, these three or a third party are the only ones who will make a difference.
If you like the direction that Clinton and Bush have taken this country...then vote for any of the others. - Reply to this comment
- ckcool192001 - The public is not tired of Republicans, we are sick and tired of all of them, each and every last member of congress who continues to ignore the demands of their constituents and who fail to uphold their oaths of office.

Yes they have done great harm, it is the party that is tainted and amoral.

Just like the Dumnos before them. Or did you forget BJ Clinton and how he handled his oath of office. You're all a bunch of ******* hypocrites. The Dumnos invented tainted and amoral or haven't you been cathing up on your reading of the other BJ in Louisiana? PeePee you really smell. - Reply to this comment
- I guess Giuliani is the best prospect for the Republicans. Some Dems might support him in the general b/c of his stance on certain social issues (unless he changes them like several of the other candidates). I don't think Mitt could win the general election. McCain looks like he's out of the running.

- Ron Paul?! Get serious. He'll never rise above 2% in any poll or vote that is valid.

- Slowly but surely as more people hear what Dr. Ron Paul has to say, he will get more and more popular. He's already the #1 candidate on the internet and he has more than double the number of youtube subscribers than any other candidate.
The only reason he's not so popular outside of the internet is because the corporate-owned mass media tries very hard to ignore him. - Reply to this comment
- Ron Paul will bring home the troups as soon as possible. He will balanced the budget and take control over FED inflationary money printing. Above all, which is very rare, he is an honest man, he is not corrupt, that is the most important feature. I would vote for him if I was an American.

He also has less of a chance of being NOMINATED by the republicans then Bozo the Clown (though that is a good chance considering the complete moron they ran the last two elections), let alone winning the White House. I like some of his ideas too, but why waste your time supporting someone who can not win? He has less chance then Ralph Nader. - Reply to this comment
- ckkool192001,
As a democrat I hope your assumptions prove out, but it's a mistake to think that the results of the 2006 election say anything about 2008-they don't.
As democrats we need to lose the bravado and wishful thinking and leave that to the republicans.
None of the rehashing of fights from the Bush & Clinton administrations is going to ultimately play into people's hopes for the future. Past isn't prologue, we have to make the case for how we intend to solve America's problems ourselves.
On that score, I would hate to be a Republican trying to justify continued support for the Iraqi misadventure.
However, the issues will evolve and change in the next 15 months and I think by election day I would not want to be a democrat or republican without a clear vision of how to confront Al Quaeda and Iranian nukes, how to reinvigorate the middle east peace process, and how to maintain a balanced position between Israel and the Arabs interested in peace. - Reply to this comment
