It's ironic that you mention the Flat Earth Theory, since Jesus Christ expressed his faith in that theory, when he said that "the stars will fall from the sky." That belief is only consistent with the Flat Earth Theory.

I recommend you peruse "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins. (Available free of charge at your local library). It exposes many of the naive reasons to believe in God.

The CIA asked the Justice Department for ther investigation on who outed her and the company Brewster Jennings, which did have foreign operatives, was outed too. If a soldier, a grieving mother or an outed CIA operative isn't a right wing loon, your support and respect for the people who serve this country with honor suddenly disappears.

VERY WELL SAID. And a very sad commentary on the true face of right wing politics and mindset. No one should ever have outed a CIA agent and the laws as written should be respected and enforced, not twisted to allow people to get away with stuff. As for who really outed Plame--if they all say they did--then they all should be prosecuted, and Cheney and Rove also should be made to testify and if they also outed or were involved--prosecuted. When each party only excuses itself and indicts the other, we do not have a government anymore, just elite thugs and their supplicants.

It is a dangerous and rather naive thing to believe something does NOT exist until we have the means to perceive it.

I would be among the many who practiced as a Scientist and still believe in God. It always seems to be laymen who think we have progressed really far in the Sciences and place a lot of stock in it, that we often have to recant what we think we know in Science --especially in medicine and that often, some of the most inspired ideas and hypotheses seem to just "drop" into our consciousness. God? or just our great brains that were accidently created from the big bang and evolved? Speaking of which--we still don't know much about how even THAT organ works. To say God does not exist is about as smart as saying in the 1600s that germs do not exist or in the 1200s that the earth was flat. Given our present state of revelation and history--it behooves us to remember that every epoch considers their time to be one of great knowledge and know how, and every single century is found to be really woefully ignorant of the billions of things they do not know or have not yet discovered. Above all, if one is at all cognizant, Science can be very humbling--because it teaches us that the limitations of today, are only the springboards for the future--

According to the site, Voordewind described how a person, who "survived" a crucifixion, "even showed holes in his hands," apparently from nails. Voordewind said victims of the crucifixions are "in most cases Christian converts who abandoned Islam or people who, religiously speaking, are involved in mixed marriages."
