Lead by example, not be governed by polls. With Bush's results, he might do better governning by the polls. Whatever it is he is doing is not working for anything including his choices for dept heads, cabinet choices, etc., part of the overall problem he has. Poor choices in people and ideas.

Ya know I kinda like a good old fashioned BJ every once in awhile myself so I guess I can't really fault old Clinton for that. I can however fault a draft dodging "let's go to war" Jacka$$ like Dumbya!!

Is this any surprise. I would like to know who in the world could say the Iraq debacle is not going badly. Also, on Bush's approval ratings, no surprise, same question who could say he is doing a good job. All you have to do is look at his accomplishments (none); even in civilian life, had to be bailed out of his business situation. Look at Iraq, Katrina, etc, all failures. I am surprised the poll reads as high as it does. Not surprised on the poll for the congress either; or the gutless wonders for leadership in the house and senate.

A true leader does not govern by polls, they lead. They do what they think is right.

Even when overwhelmingly proven WRONG! So by this do you mean "lead by example"? Such as GWB, ******** Cheney and the bulk of this admin who all skipped real military service!!

Switching Sides: Inside The Enemy Camp

But then in 2000, well before his arrest, something happened which would make Abas question everything he believed in: a fatwa, a religious edict, was issued by Osama bin Laden.

"It should be understood that killing Americans and Jews anywhere found are the highest act of worship and the highest form of good deeds in the eyes of Allah," Simon quotes bin Laden.

Abas and his fellow commanders were ordered to read the fatwa to their men and make sure they carried it out. The others obeyed, but Abas refused. It was his moment of truth. He firmly believed that jihad was to be fought only on the battlefield in defense of Islam; he had always been taught that the killing of civilians had nothing to do with holy war and that it was forbidden.

The fatwa justified killing non-Muslim civilians everywhere.

"Well if 76% of Americans think it, then it must be true."

More likely perhaps... and, in a democracy, a political reality that pro war forces must deal with.

To follow on my last post:

You only have to look at lars008's parents for an example of type of people who should never have ***. That sort of thing and what it leads to (moronic, obsessive compulsive sociopaths like lars008) are a far more real concern for our society than who is blowing the president.

If it really bothers you that much that Bill got a BJ, I think you should just shut up and go get a box of condoms. Stop the madness in this generation.

'd like to know too where this poll sample comes from - maybe New York City where 80% are Dembots?
And if it's soo cut and dry what The People want, why are the Dembots in Congress running around like the Keystone Kops trying to get something done about it?
Polls are like the weather. They change every day.
