Well if you looked at the statistics you would see that the chance of a terrorist killing you, me or my daughter is so small it's like 1 chance in 2000 in a lifetime vs 1 in 80 for being killed by a car.
As for high risk ,,, the major cause of accidental death in the US is through medical werror... so look out when you go to the Dr's or the hospital.
Auto accident is next then bathtub, falls etc.. murder is way down the list as is accidental gun shots... Yeah more people are killed with kitchen knives.. on and on and way way down the list is "Oh My the Terrorists".

This 300 + billion spent chasing butterflies in the wind is criminal!

There are over 300 million people in the US and less than 3000 were killed on 9/11 yet GWB has killed over 40000 Iraqies and over 2000 US soldiers. You think I'm wrong for disliking this abusive administration?

When you wrap youself in that flag remember to leave at least 1 eye uncovered.

You can't reason someone who didn't use reason in the first place to for their opnion.

tell you what - you don't like it, you've got 2 choices

a. fix it (if you think you can do such a good job) and since you KNOW so much, are obviously NOT a fool and are so intelectually inclined, then RUN for office, become a "non-neocon" poitician and FIX IT!! otherwise shut up!

or b. Get the FU*& out and enjoy yourself in some luxurious paradise somewhere else on this wonderful peace loving earth...

p.s. if you find a better place let us all know, one WITHOUT ANY politicians (cause they are ALL the same no matter where you look) and a place that enjoys the freedoms we have here.... as well FYI if you ever do get your "non-neocon" politician wish you won't have to wait long to see them converted over to the good ole ways....

Schools are a whole other subject. Let's talk about cutting other programs before we cut our secuirty and military. Like welfare and taking care ofillegal immigrants who do not pay taxes, but we carry the burden for their medical care and other things they should not be entiltled to.

Testy,,, I never said I don't like it here nor did anyone else. You assume that because we have an ineffectual administration that we don't like this country. It just the NeoCon's that have and are ruining this country.

You need to do some homework else you look like the fools that you are.

Taxpayers in United States will pay $315.8 billion for the cost of war in Iraq. For the same amount of money, the following could have been provided:

558,642,585 Homes with Renewable Electricity or
71,717,012 People Receiving Health Care or
185,783,623 Children Receiving Health Care or
5,472,330 Elementary School Teachers or
61,230,780 Scholarships for University Students

As my husband quoted to woman who called him a murderer "You are why I fight so hard for this country so that you will have the chance to learn and I will look past your misquided statements for you know not what you speak of, God Bless You!" Your anger is misdirected, go speak with your democratic friends and tell them they should have done something about terrorism well before, but no they were not willing. We have been facing terrorist attacks well before Bush took office, except he has the guts to stand up and say no more. Oh btw, I guess you are one of those who think my tax dollars should go to your child. I pay taxes for schools but my kids do not attend. If you are not happy with your school system sacfrifice and do the same for kids. We all have the obligation of conducting our lives the way we see fit and not expecting others to take care of us.

OOPS, I didn't know this was a democratic site sorry....

tell you what, if you don't like it here, then GO (LEAVE) live under whats his face (hitler) in iranian paradise or better yet why don't you try a few months of tropical paradise in the jungles of north korea heard it's beautiful there this time of year in fact I'll even pay for your ticket - GO leave you whining ***...

as for me I choose to enjoy the freedom I have grown to love and will continue to....

- wait a minute I think my house value just went up another 20% - gotta go.....

OH YEAH AND LET ME ADD.... GET THE FU*& OUT IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a bunch of Neoconservative baloney!

People who think like you have taken America down to defeat after defeat. Faced with bitter losses, you will now accuse America of not trying hard enough. We should unleash even greater power and weaponry. You think it%u2019s ok for the village idiot to seek even more power. You blame everyone and everything you can think of. and call us critics defeatists. You will point to all the soldiers who have died as a reason to send more to their deaths.. You think that America can rule the world. We can%u2019t and who the hell said we should. That%u2019s why we are hated everywhere.

What are you, a warmonger? Blindly follwing the emporer that has no clothes? You really think GWB knows what he is doing? We have the larges deficit this country has ever seen. 80% of the national budget goes to the military while our schools go with out. Nice priorites.

Why are we in Iraq? Not because of 911. If you are able to read you will know that NONE of the socalled terrorists were from Iraq or Afganistan. Try Egypt and Saudi%u2019s So tell me why we went into Iraq and Afganistan, and Murdered 10%u2019s of thousands of civilians.

Get your heads out of your ***** and look behind the curtian. Your Great Leader is the Real terrorist.

Thank you tellitasitis. THE USA is the best place to live and it is forever changed by the events of 9/11. A quote that was said directly to my husband was "you have given us a great gift, freedom". That is what we have here the freedom to say what we think no matter how idiotic and misguided it is. Just as the FBI have a most wanted list so does the terrorist groups around the world and it is every person on the face of the earth that does not believe as they do or that is not willing to bow down at their feet and worship them. Where would we be today if Bush had not been president, the bully as some call him. My husband would be home, yes, but patrolling our own streets to protect us from terrorist on our own soil. Take the fight to them so we can go about our daily lives is exactly what our miltary does.

WELL SAID - and I hope your husband and all his buddies get back safe....

although I must say they are not blinded so much by the media as they are disilllusioned about how this world works today vs the "old days" things will NEVER be the same again and they will more then likely continue to worsen as time goes by regardless of who is in control of OUR government as we are begining to be influenced more and more by the miserable countries around the world as was witnessed on 9/11... and as we now have to deal with the misery that these other countries have created for themselves in various ways we too will experience more hardships here, no getting around it - HOWVERE that being said this is still the best place in the world to live - PERIOD...........
