Sorry, Ducky.

Many of us who are no great fans of Bill Clinton think the real story is how badly the media played up his comments in order to create the appearance of conflict.

Media coverage of Obama have portrayed him as a "charming wunderkind" rather than focus on his political misjudgements & inexperience.

Similarly, coverage of either Clinton has tended to be aggressively antipathetic and have sought to inflame previously formed inaccurate media portrayals of the Clintons as "deceitful", "insincere", or "aggressive".

Bill Clinton has it right.

The u.s. news media is not interested in reporting fairly or factually. The media instead is principaly interested in spinning their own "fairy tales". That is what best serves their own perceived commercial interests.

Do you really want four more years of the Clinton twins?
I don''t.
Nor do I believe the "35 years of experience". Just where did Hillary get this experience. Eight years as First Lady? Several years as a shyster lawyer? Her brief term as a Senator?
C''mon, gimme a break.
That women will vote for Hillary for the simple-minded fact that she is a woman is frightening.

Bush has given us the worst leadership in history!
As for Hillary taking orders from Bill Clinton. Not on your life!
Hillary has a lot of pride and her reputation would be on the line. Her place in history would be in her own hands and don''t think for one moment that this savvy lady would take a back seat to her husband or allow him to pull down her administration. Of course, she would seek his counsel as I suspect all presidents do of their spouses. Remember how Nancy Reagan more or less ran the show because Reagan was too old and possibly mentally challenged, particularly in the last years of his second administration. Hillary doesn''t have that problem...her mind is as sharp as ever and she would want to establish her place in history as a very fine president!

Where did you get the idea that bush allowed bin laden to escape. This to my knowledge is totally false.

My understanding was that clinton was advised of the whereabouts of bin laden and hesitated to take him out.

Actually, alanrobisch2, I, and everyone else in the world (except perhaps for you), got it from the president himself.

Within the first week of 9/11 Bush made, among others, the following statements:

"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him."
- G.W. Bush, 9/13/01

"I want justice...There''s an old poster out West, as I recall, that said, ''Wanted: Dead or Alive,''"
- G.W. Bush, 9/17/01, UPI *******

Then, after abandoning the search for Bin Laden, for the invasion of Iraq, Bush made these responses to questions about Bin Laden:

"I don''t know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don''t care. It''s not that important. It''s not our priority."
- G.W. Bush, 3/13/02

"I am truly not that concerned about him."
G.W. Bush, responding to a question about bin Laden''s whereabouts, 4/8/02).

There have also been allegations about private enterprises being warned away from capturing Bin Laden after Bush left Afghanistan.

taddles are you ignorant enough or just brainwashed into believing "Bush allowed Bin Laden to get away" nonsense. America is aggressivley pursueing Bin Laden and will not stop until he is caught or killed. The tripe you spew about "letting him get away" is ludicrous and false, you people spew that crapp becaus he hasn''t been caught yet. If he is not dead already he is hiding in a remote mountain range between Afghanistan and Pakistan the size of Texas. THe Abortion clinc bomber hid out in the Smokey mountains of North Carolina for five years with multiple law enforcement agencies and the national guard looking for him, yet you people feel a man willing to live in caves in a remote country five times the size North Carolina, with a support system which includes a small army should be easily caught. Are you really that thick or is your agenda simply driven by blinding hatred for Bush?
