MildyAmused1,

Wow. Your empathy for the bottom 20% ( as you call us, " the Democratic base" ) is compelling but I disagree.

As a percentage of their pay ( which is really all that matters) the bottom 20% pay a much higher % of federal income taxes then the rich.

23 cents out of every dollar I make goes for FICA and federal income taxes. Sorry but show me one, just one, individual or corporation with a net worth over one million dollars that pays the same. Just one. Research that and get back with me.

In any case, I guess you are trying to make the argument that the rich pay enough and the poor ( the Democratic base ...lol) just need to get to work.

I need to get back to work now. Gotta pick some mo cotton. Lol

Democrats and republicans can be more dangerous than any terrorist on earth.
No terrorist can ever destroy America and our freedoms, but the government sure can!

Tejasdemo,

"You can not respond to it because, like your colleagues, you dont have a hot clue how to. Isnt it time for a nap for you ?"

Oh, I am crushed by the sheer intellect and substantive volume of this well-reasoned response! ROTFLMAO. Do some research and come back when you have something persuasive. Your unsupported and childish opinions are not going to convince anyone.

Let me help you get started. Your views on taxing the rich are nonsense. Over the last 20 years, the top 20% of wage earners in this country have paid over 80% of ALL federal taxes, while the bottom 20% of wage earners (also called "the Democrat base") paid NO federal income tax at all. In fact, many of the bottom 10% actually got yet another welfare check from the government in the form of the EIC. Don't take my word for it, though. I could be just another empty headed dolt spouting my worthless opinions on some website. You can go to www.irs.gov and look up the historical tax data. (It can be also downloaded into Excel in spreadsheet form from the site). It will take a little effort (I know work is a scary word to liberals) but you might actually find that actual facts are useful in forming a coherent thought.

"Lol. There we go.Spoken in true idiot republican fashion. The government has done more to help Republican aholes from having to fight in wars they start or pay their fair share in taxes in the last 12 years then they ever have helping anybody with their welfare checks.

What's the next stupid Republican comment ?"

First, I am a Libertarian not a Republican and I actually agree with part of what you say about the government spending American taxpayer dollars and lives on foreign wars. Let the rest of the world all kill themselves if that is what they want to do. All of them are not worth the loss of a single American life. I also don't support the idea of pre-emptive war. We just need to make it clear that if one of these third world garbage pails attacks the US or is complicit in such an attack, then we will retaliate massively and we WILL NOT help them rebuild the smoldering ruins.

Second, I also oppose ALL government subsidies and the Republicans love those as much as the Democrat socialist wealth redistributors love stealing from the productive and giving to the lazy and non productive (i.e. the entire Democrat voting block). My basic philosphy is that the Republicans are trying to sell this country and the Democrats are tyring to give it away, after they destroy it first by eliminating all accountability and morality.

Finally, still waiting for the first fact from you. You got the empty opinion and namecalling down pretty well, though.

Wow! Red meat from Tejasdemo!

"ANSWER: NOBODY LIKES THE WAR IN IRAQ AND NOBODY WANTS THE TROOP HOME "MORE" THAN OUR PRESIDENT.

Response: Total BS. Republicans like the war. Republicans pray for war. Bush wants a troop presence in Iraq forever."

Let's see... how to respond to all the FACTS and LOGIC of Tejasdemo's argument....?? Wait a second. There aren't any FACTS or LOGIC???? This looks like just a bunch of non-supported, empty statements made by an idiot!! I mean, this looks like something a 5 year old would say on a playground. Should we just accept this stuff because Tejasdemo says it is so? Of course not. Only a moron would think that.

We are all STILL anxiously awaiting for an example to support this statement, complete with facts and a coherent rationale.

That's the trouble with most liberals. They are ALL emotion and NO logic. I guess you get that way waiting on your welfare check or the government to do something for you that you ought to do for yourself.

Bush and the Republicans ARE the scourge of the world. No doubt. Write it down. It should be the first thing each individual sees when they walk into their job.

You should be required to acknowledge it in writing every time you go to a restaurant or check into a hotel.

To Tejasdemo

"The media jumped the shark with the advent of Fox News. What started out as a legitimately poised conservative view point on issues became an alleged source of "truthiness" and "could be facts." Unfortunately there are so many gullible viewers in America that they believe that Fox is actually news, when in fact, it is neoconservative opinions.

Even if you believe that all other networks constitute "the evil liberal media" there is nothing in the solar system as fraudulent as Fox News.

"....that America is the bad guy and Bush and the Republicans are the scourge of the world..."

You don't need any media outlet to convince you that the above statement is more true than false.
