Gee, a case that garishly reveals what lawyers do EVERY DAY- take us to the cleaners, legal robbery.

All lawyers are scum.

The main reason nothing gets accomplished in government is that most of our "leaders" and "representative" are lawyers. Lawyers can't agree on lunch, let alone finding any practical solutions to our problems.

Kill all lawyers!

Sure, ration access to the courts just like medical care, so only rich people can afford it. We can't have rifraff bothering the important people! And the corporations could be free to dump their toxic wastes anywhere, etc. etc.

There were remedies the court could have applied in this case to mitigate any financial harm to the defendants--assign reasonable lawyer's fees, and slap rule 11 sanctions on the plaintiff.

Who else other than a presiding judge in litigation has anything like enough facts to know if a suit has merit?
