He got what he deserved for his lies and deceit to his wife and family.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Really? So, what does Mark Sanford 'deserve'?

He deserves a costly divorce. He's already been publicly ridiculed and his political career is over. At least he's alive to suffer for his sins.
by gravyboat4000 July 8, 2009 5:40 PM EDT
He deserves to be out of office, for abandoning his job, and the people of South Carolina.

[Sometimes everything that just feeeeeeeeellls soooooo gooooood...just isn't the right thing to do...but libs will never understand that. ]

sometimes? yes ... sometimes ... which means that the talking point your repeating means nothing at all.

sometimes things turn out good ... sometimes they don't ... doesn't matter what your political affliation or your reasons for ... or whomelse is involved. sometimes good people suffer bad experiences ... sometimes bad people strike gold with great luck.

so ... how long will it be for you to understand this ... or are you just waiting for what someone else thinks about it ... and you'll repeat that when it sounds good to you.

Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive! What a shame! He was a husband and a father, he was a great NFL player--did he get what he wanted? She certainly was a disturbed individual. She was so young and had so many problems. Unfortunately, she didn't want to go alone! George and GetAlong, I kinda agree with you.

This woman comes from a culture of murder, violence and intolerance. They blow each other up and kill each other constantly over there. This does not surprise me in the least.

He was cheating on his wife. Maybe he should have kept it in his pants and he'd be alive today.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If McNair really was thinking about divorcing his wife, then 'keeping it in his pants' would not have been the problem. The 'problem', as it were, was that this woman thought she was going to be the next Mrs. McNair. What probably happened was either he wasn't getting the divorce fast enough for her tastes, or he decided to he was going to try to make his marriage work. That ruins a lot of relationships: someone 'thinking' for their partner. I didn't know Steve, but his charity work here is legendary. In Memphis, when the Oilers/Titans played here for a year, he was the most humble, gracious person you could ever hope to meet. He was nothing like Mark Sanford, Rudy Giuliani or Newt Gingrich, in that he honestly cared about people, not about stuffing his wallet with as much money as he could find (or in their case, steal). Despite his failings, he was still a good man. We in TN and MS will miss him...

McNair's wife didn't even have to kill him for having an affair, and she gets to collect his life insurance....How cool is that?

I guess its safe to say your a complete idiot. Nothing is ever good when it comes to murder. IN any shape or form. As to Standford like McNair he just another man who couldn't keep it in his pants. AND unlike Standford, his Argentine lover didn't shoot is ass. Mores the pity

YCan't I was responding to IThoughtItWasFunnyNot as for you I sense a big helping opinion of racisim, and I quote "This woman comes from a culture of murder, violence and intolerance. They blow each other up and kill each other constantly over there. This does not surprise me in the least." Just because she has a arab sounding name doesn't mean that the entire culture is inclined to kill. Sounds to me that your a sexist racist bigot who's life isn't really worth any fuss. AS to over there, do you have anyone who's over there? I do fool. AND as to education your quips aren't any better than you neo nazi republicans regularly can spew. Have a nice day. oink oink

sioux4life1 - Your statements are as bad as the guy you are criticising. How can you accuse him of being a Republican simply because he makes statements that you don't like. Your statements are equally offensive.

As for the comment about no one wanting American females there are some truth to this but you have to remember always meet the family and see how they act before moving in with a chick. I got one now who is a nut case we all get into situations its up to us to make it better.

**IThoughtItWasFunnyNot**

It's so sad you ignorant right wing nut can make this story about the president. Give up you party lost...try again in three years but until then deal with it or better go back to FakeNews and stop being so miserable.

"And again, males can't keep their pants zipped and think everybody should still glorify them when they throw their kids and wives over for bimbos who will stroke their PRECIOUS ego's.... "

Maybe if american women were not so selfish and useless they could keep their men happy. American women are complete trash. Nobody in the world wants them.
by voxpopulus July 9, 2009 10:30 AM EDT
Maybe the issue of men's pants being unzipped would go away if American women's legs could stay together. It takes two.
by wslady July 9, 2009 11:21 AM EDT
kue1248 & voxpopulus WHAT? From what I read this girl was NOT American. McNair's wife is, and I don't think her legs are the issue! Let's put the blame for the affair where it belongs THE MAN!Both of you are bigots. If you hate American's so much go somewhere else!
by bobnjersey July 9, 2009 12:26 PM EDT
[McNair's wife is, and I don't think her legs are the issue! Let's put the blame for the affair where it belongs THE MAN!Both of you are bigots. If you hate American's so much go somewhere else! ]

interesting. you somehow know all the details about these relationships and all the causual connections.

why do you suppose 'a man' would decide to cheat on his wife? just woke up one day and decided that would be a good thing? did this woman have any role in the choice to have a relationship w/ someone she clearly knew was married? she even knew the wife and children on a cursory level since they were customers where she worked.

and calling attention to what may be underlying problems w/ the way people who live here see the world and live their life is not 'hating america'. it's a means to express what you think is wrong with it ... so as to possibly make it somehow better. maybe you should leave if you can't tolerate other's perspective ... since that underlies many of the core freeedoms that 'the godd@man piece of paper' was intended to secure.
