i know he loves the sport, having grown up around it; however, it''s just not worth risking his health and ability to walk, not to mention the pain injured knees can bring, with or without surgery. golf is his bread and butter, i know, but can''t he do endorsements, etc. he''s still young now, but he might regret pushing himself in his later years. best of luck to him, his wife and that adorable baby.

I have a torn ACL in my right knee and have been playing golf for years; however, Tiger''s is the left knee, which is 100 times worse from a golf standpoint. The left knee takes tremendous pressure and rotational stress at impact, especially with a powerful athletic swing like Tiger''s. He is borderline insane for not listening to his doctors and playing hurt. Now the question is how much meniscus damage has he caused by subjecting that knee to so much stress.

With that said, the fact that he was able to win a major under that much pain and physical disability is quite impressive.

Tiger won''t be at the Buick Open Again?
Ever since GM Closed the Buick Plant (and about every other plant)in near by Flint Michigan, the Buick Open can''t catch a break. Shucks.
