Comments on: Ex-Trainer: "I'll Go To Jail" For Clemens
Amid Steroid Allegations And Lawsuit, Phone Conversation With Former Trainer Made Public
- The day of the Mitchell Report Clemons should have taken a lie detector test and share it with the world if he passed. He was silent for 5 days, can you say cover up. The spin machine is now in full operation. There will never be a trail, just sound and fury signifying nothing.

- Many of McNamee''''s clients named in the report have admitted steroid use. Why would McNamee, under threat of federal prosecution if he lies, tell the truth on all those and lie just about Clemens?
Your post is the only one to make sense-LOGICALLY. McNamee, stays out of jail if he tells the truth and does not lie! So why lie on Clemens-he would be sent to Jail?
Clemens'' lawyers did not explain standard logic to their client. Only a foul would think Clemens was telling the truth? - Reply to this comment
- Games are for little kids and that''s just what these people are acting like. No, I take that back! My grandkids have more couth and manners than these so-called MEN. These are just a bunch of overgrown, overfed, over-indulged bullies that have graduated from taking other kids lunch money to conning you people into being their "fans" and paying them exorbant sums so you can watch them "play a game."Wow, that sounds so manley! I''d like to see any of them come to work with me. I''m an Ironworker and I could work the ''roids out of any of them anytime. Grow up and get a job, punk!

- Who cares? I don''t. I am tired of this dominating the news. Why doesn''t the news make a big deal out of it when a doctor on the field gives a player a shot so he can go back out to the field and play after he has been severely injured and when further playing is likely to lead to a disability? Yep, happens in football. Where''s the outrage? Oh..no outrage. So then I could care less if some player is using steroids. What hypocrisy.

- Clemens is lying but what else can the boy do ? It''s just a game of chicken. Some trainer is not going to lie to the feds. And, there are so many other players who have taken steroids why pick on Clemens if it wasnt true.
If Clemens was a real man he would just admit it like Pettite did and go home. But, he cant. He''s tried to build himself up to be some kind of superhero he just cant admit that his b alls are now gone (literally). - Reply to this comment
- After watching the interview, I have to give Roger the benefit of the doubt. I believe Mcanamee is trying to keep himself out of the pokey and probably being preesured hard to say anything to satisfy the FEDS. After all the news last year concerning our dirty little legal system, I have to give Roger that benefit.

- The NFL is now America''''s sport!

yeah, they''re really great...
SD Charger, safety Terrence Kiel, was arrested by Drug Enforcement Administration agents at the team''s practice facility in September on charges of transporting and possessing a controlled substance. Another, linebacker Steve Foley, was shot and wounded by an off-duty police officer in an incident in which Foley was charged with drunken driving. And it was learned recently that unidentified Charger players were cleared in another DEA probe that has been passed on to another agency. At least 35 NFL players have been arrested this year on charges ranging from disorderly conduct to felony burglary, and aggrivated animal cruelty. - Reply to this comment

these drugs are produced by the major pharmaceuticals ... to be consumed by whomever they can sell them to ... kinda like a ''legal'' drug. - Reply to this comment

- If I were him I would not have gone the "I was injected with lidocaine" route. Has anyone here ever been injected with lidocaine? I have. Lidocaine, like novacaine, and the rest of the "caine" family work where they are put. In other words, a shot of novcaine at the dentist is put in your mouth and your mouth goes numb, and not even your whole mouth just the spot around the injection. If he had an injection of lidocaine in his butt for pain in his arm, then his butt would have gone numb not his arm, it doesn''t go through your blood stream to the point of your pain. I had it in my back years ago for back spasms and let me tell you it stings like hell when they are injecting you and it''s something I know I will never forget.

- Roger and I went to the same high school in Houston. He is NOT from New York! He said "I''m coming back home (to New York)". You''re a loser and a traitor, Roger. You''re just in this for the money. You should have stayed with the Astros. I''ve given up on MLB.

- Clemens has always been a prima donna. He confirmed it when he said,"you won''''t cut me a break after all I''''ve done for baseball?" You have done for baseball what Pete Rose has done for baseball....and it ain''''t good.

- Filing a D. Suit against your former trainer is NOT going to get you off the hook Mr. Clemens. What is good for the goose is also good for the gander..............psychologically, you are displacing your blame onto your trainer. Well, he is to blame for this.......yeah right!!!!!!

- One, you can''t tell me that he just started looking like that on his own. Give me a break. And two, anyone who takes a step into the major league will be at one time or another looked at for use of an "illegal" steriod. So how about we just get over it and tell Mr. I-big-because-I-pick-up-heavy-stuff-a-lot to get over his self and just tell the truth.
What are we teaching the kids that look up to fools like this, "Don''t worry Johnny it''s okay to do drugs just make sure you lie about it." - Reply to this comment
