A machete?...If one is afraid of having their home invaded and their valuables carried off by brush and small trees, that''s just the ticket for home defense...In the real world, a good short-barreled shotgun--like the Mossberg 500 featured in the GUNS AND AMMO newsletter is best for clearing homebreakers and killers from the home....Don''t bring a machete to a gun fight, its just plain stupid.

Where do some of you see Jackson or Sharpton in this story? It''s ashamed that you can''t see that you are also needing to move forward. Why is it a free country for you to make these comments and not a free country for Sharpton or Jackson to make their comments? When there is white-on-white crime do you also bring up the skinheads or people like Pat Buchannan or Tom Metzger or David Duke or Trent Lott or Pat Robertson or Hannity and say, there you see not only blacks are killing white people but whites are killing white people, too.? No, you don''t.

Why can''t this story just be about humans or even a lighter subject like gun control and having guns in the house? The latter is more tied to this story than race.

People like Jackson and Sharpton turn every issue into a race thing. If they didn''t they''d be out of business. These two are responsible for more racial hatred then any two people in the last 20 yrs. And unfortunately there are still those who think that these two bigots have a clue. And we wonder why race relations are where they are. Time for folks to rise above these clowns and move forward.

You would think that with all those posts, he"d eventually get the spelling of "athlete" right.

Well I can think of a man who graduated Magna C*um Laude from Harvard Law School, where he was the first Black editor of the prestigious Harvard Law Review.

A man who opposed the Iraq Quagmire from Day One, with words whose eloquence rivals Lincoln"s.

The man in running for President now.

Barack Obama.

kindrox,

There are plenty white versions of Jesse Jackson out there. You just have to use a code book to see them. Please remember "State''s Rights" says nothing about race in it, but it was fully loaded with race. Fox News for example is filled with more extreme versions of Jesse Jackson than Jesse Jackson himself. And, there is no other heinous criminal defended in America than what you see on the Fox-Bush Network.

whatithink,

I gotta say that Jessie Jackson brings up race EVERY time, and I see his face on tv every few days. And just about time I see him, he is defending a heinous criminal.

I don''t see the "white", "asian", "muslim", "latino" ect. version of Jessie Jaction on TV, just the black ones.

I think it stirs pots.

One day people will learn that words reflect solely on the person using them.

For those who think racism would go away if blacks would only stop bring up race all the time, please read these posts. You have several clear examples that it is not only blacks who are bringing up race all the time. I would dare to say that it is not only blacks who are bringing up race most of the time.

Read any posting with any topic with any link even the most obscure related to anything remotely black and you will see. Open your eyes. Only blacks bringing up race all the time is a myth.

actornaught,

Well said.

That is the issue with racists, they are so predictable. I think it''s the matter of the brain being unable to process complex thinking.

nameverify,

Blacks are overrepresented in the U.S. military and are out there risking their lives in foreign countries while you sit on your fat lazy buttocks eating bon bons and writing nonsense. What a hero you are.

What? Black guys did it??? What a f***ing surprise!!!...

Yeah, that''s pretty ignorant.

Michael in particular clings to few cherry-picked facts that help him justify his racism, making the problem worse, especially for himself.

MichaelT302 & robertkjjj are both consistent with the ''con strategy of ignoring facts and going straight for broad personal attacks (a.k.a. bigotry) and unsubstantiated hyperbole.

robertkjjj,

Your brain is too small to try to wrap it around complex things, boy. Stick to the superficial like race because you are limited.

You are confusing the percentage of murder victims in the country (50% black males) with the percentage of same race murders (about 95% for both groups).

There WhatIthink goes again, with the 95% nonsense, pulling numbers out of his rect*um. Total BS, totally made-up, completely ignoring the US Crime databases, trying to "protect" his gentle brown brothers. Ha Ha, whay a f''in loser.

Hate is an emotion stronger than love. Thank you for expending such energy on me. I have none to give to you.
