I can see why they waited 4 years, 4 years of use in steriods is automatic indictment entering Hall of Fame.

He Introduced BALCO to Gary Shaffields and he knew it''s steriods. BB is a biggest liar in sports and I hope he rots!

Flat out, I''m not a Bonds fan. But honestly, if it took 4 years to come up with enough evidence to indict him. Or 4 years to convince one out of several grand juries with the evidence presented, how good could the evidence be? Think about it.

They should strip all of his recent records since he started taking them. If they decided to keep him in Hall of Fame, they better put Pete Rose back. If not, then BB should also be banned.

I hope MLB does the right thing and reinstates Henry Aaron as the all-time Home Run leader until someone comes along and legitimately breaks his record!

They''ll want his head on a platter, but only a person taking steriods could carry his head.

Bonds, Marion Jones, who will be next? What an embarrassment for those clean athletes trying to excell in their sports.

Let the legal system play this one out. I wish the indictment had occurred a year earlier. This Anderson fellow must be a great friend to stay in jail for BB. Maybe he''s been promised millions when he gets out. One question I''ve always had during this entire episode is that many journalists say that steriods weren''t in violation of baseball rules for a long period of time, but the use of these chemicals was and is against the rule of the land. Who''s laws are higher? Baseball''s or the government''s? Personally I hope our legal system finds this guy in violation of a number of laws. If ever there was a need for an (*). The bad thing is that he was destined for the Hall of Fame without all these meaningless home runs.

I find it absolutely incredible that it took 4 years to make a case against him.
