President Obama should tax his tax plan one step further by adding more tax cuts to all citizens making less that $250,000, and then add an additonal war tax upon the one's making more than $250,000. Bush, Boehner and Palins two unnecessary DigiNet wars are draining our treasury.

I agree ... but I would like to see an additional war tax passed
on EVERYBODY who voted for George Bush. It could be a reminder
to each and everyone of them what the TRUE cost of STUPID really is.

Bush, Boehner and Palins two unnecessary DigiNet wars are draining our treasury. The upper middle class have paid too much tax's as the the rich live a life of luxury. Add a temporary war tax upon the rich. They can still live a luxurious life even with a few addiontal tax points. That's the way to keep our social programs, add jobs and reduce our deficeit.

I am not rich, and I am not a member of any political party. Giving tax breaks to the rich makes sense, if your intention is to create jobs and stimulate the economy. Rich people buy good and services, and that helps keep jobs for companies that supply goods and services. President Obama's idea of taxing the rich more will result in redirecting money out of the economy and into Washington.

Robster:
You say you are not rich ... and not a member of any political party.
The first one I believe. The second statement is suspect. Your
previous communications indicate a strong Tea-Baggerish tendency.
The only jobs that tax breaks for the rich create are sales positions
at the Nordstroms and BMW dealerships. There are MANY more jobs
needed than that.

Most Americans have learned to make personal cuts during this recession, but the federal government has been spending $100s if billions that the nation does not have (under this Congress and President the spending has gotten out of control). However, in the past few years the federal government has expanded greatly on the backs of business and taxpayers. This year we have a record breaking $1.47 trillion deficit, and the national debt has accelerated like crazy (instead of operating on less like the rest of us). We now have a $13.3 trillion national debt. Close to 20% of the national budget goes to just paying the interest on the debt. This is insanity, and we have very irresponsible leadership in Washington. This has to stop.

It is way past time for the federal government to learn to live on less. We must elect leaders who will bring responsibility to Washington. We must reduce the federal government to a manageable size. We need a balanced budget amendment to the US Constitution, because we have been electing representatives who seem to not be able to control themselves with federal spending. Just like the situation of having children who have trouble controlling themselves, responsible parents must set rules. We need to set some for Congress. On the other hand, although parents can't trade in unruly children - we can trade in our unruly members of Congress and the Senate. Let's do so in November.

THIS IS HERESY !!!
The Wealthy are the only people in this country that matter !!!

The next thing (good luck with this) Boehner is going to
suggest is that Tea-Bagging-Bozos be required to get high school
diplomas.

A possible compromise in the works? I AM impressed. Time for both sides to grow up and move on for the benefit of the country.
