You clearly cant take anything that some of the things some of the people are saying on here seriously because they clearly don't see or know about the situation down in Mexico and why so many Mexicans have left their country in the first place. Why? because American news station haven't reported on the situation enough!!!! Our American government needs to go down to Mexico and stop the drug cartels from waging war on us and the Mexican people!!!! U guys need to do ur jobs better!!!!

Food for thought: Imagine this passes. What about all the military members born of illegal/undocumented immigrants? Those of us extensively trained in our areas serving for years, and having our citizenship revoked? What recourse would we have? or our families? What would the ramifications be?

So many of us, we are torn.

-Our hearts go out to the decent Mexican people who cannot make a living or support their family in Mexico. People who simply want to work, who love each other and fear for their lives in the corrupt and polluted country of their birth.
-But we also see that, not only do people wishing for a better life come here, but the riff raff, drug distributers, and criminals too. Further, Mexican people come here, they give birth and do not pay. Their children receive medical care, dental care, medications, food, education and they do not make enough to actually pay income taxes that support these programs. There's more and more and more...

So the burden falls on American citizens who are working hard to support their own families. We are not blind to the Mexicans plight, our hearts aren't hard, we are simply overwhelmed. America's systems can't handle the influx.

Mexico is a vast country of great beauty and natural resources. It's underdeveloped, the environmental protection laws that they do have aren't enforced, and it's people live hand-to-mouth because of how it is governed. They only want to live in dignity and security as do Americans.

It's time...for America to reverse itself. We have fought for democracy and prevented countries from taking over other countries. But- it's time. AMERICA, TAKE MEXICO.

We live with a rattlesnake of crime and "might makes right" "Machismo" on our doorstep. We live with the land, rivers and water bodies along the shared borders a cesspool of Mexico's environmental waste. The decent folk cannot live there for fear of their lives, they cannot support or feed their families, so they come here.

America, kick out Mexico's government, rid the country of the Mexican Mobs, Mafias & Drug Lords, bring some law & order, open the border, welcome our brothers and sisters from the south, create jobs, and make Mexico a province, state, or whatever the politicos decide works.

Get rid of the problem by making Mexico part of America. Let us stand together as Americans. AMERICA, TAKE MEXICO, become one.

Come visit Arizona before you pass judgment on us.
We work side-by side with our Latin brothers and sisters.
We love our Indian Nations and do whatever we can to support them as THEY SEE FIT. Not as we see fit.

No if you have never been to Tucson or Queen Creek for Good food, then you know nothing of us.
We know that the rest of the country has draw incredible profits from the HUMAN TRAFFICKING at Both our Neighbors expense and our expense.

Congratulations to Sen. Kyl for his correct thinking. Illegal aliens are deliberately having children as quick as possible fter they arrive in this country to establish an "anchor" to benefits. Amending the 14th
would help our nation, would help slow the immigration "problem", and would not prevent anyone in the future from becoming an applicant for legal immigration. It just affect ILLEGALS by plugging a hole.

In a shocking move (well from Arizona these days, maybe not so shocking), the same Arizona Republicans that want to further enslave Mexicans and deny person born on United States soil (despite this being the law of the United States for 150 years) have asked that the Statue of Liberty be torn down. Announcing that they detest the pagan symbol of a Roman goddess and detest freedom, the Arizonians want to have a "pure" race so we need to rid the US of unwanteds.

Sen. John Kyl, R-Ariz., said today that Congress should hold hearings to look into denying citizenship to illegal aliens? children born in the United States, as the fight over immigration widens into the explosive ?birthright? issue.

Kyl told CBS? ?Face the Nation? that he supports a call by fellow Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., to introduce a new amendment to repeal the 14th Amendment of the Constitution.


Support is growing for this stunning reversal from Graham, who in 2007 drew the ire of Republicans when he lobbied for granting legal status to 12 million undocumented workers, and along with President George W. Bush and Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., led the failed immigration reform effort that would have given illegal immigrants a path to citizenship.

The 14th Amendment was enacted in 1868 to ensure that states would not deny citizenship to former slaves. It reads, ?All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.?

THIS WOULD BE THE GREATEST THING THEY COULD DO. OUR STATES ARE IN BAD SHAPE FINANCIALLYAND MOST OF THE FREEBIES GIVEN TO ILLEGALS AND ANCHOR BABIES ARE TO BLAME.

ILLEGAL ALIENS ARE GIVEN FREE PRE NATAL CARE AND EVEN ONE MONTH PAST THE BIRTH OF THE BABY. NOW THE BABY IS ELIGIBLE FOR MONEY (WELFARE), MEDICAID AND FOOD STAMPS AND WIC.
BECAUSE?POTENTIAL U.S. CITIZEN, HOWEVER, THE CHILD MAINTAINS DUAL MEXICAN/AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP SO IF THEY GO TO MEXICO. THEY ARE MEXICAN CITIZENS.

THE MONEY AND FOOD STAMPS ARE ISSUED IN THE ILLEGAL MOTHER?S NAME AND THE BABY RECEIVES FREE MEDICAL CARE WITH THE ILLEGAL MOTHER?S NAME ON THE MEDICAL CARD.

THE STUPID LAWMAKERS HAVE NO IDEA OF THE THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS STATES PAY OUT FOR THESE SERVICES, NOT COUNTING EXTRA BI-LINGUAL WORKERS WHO ARE USUALLY PAID EXTRA BECAUSE THEY SPEAK SPANISH.

The constitution needs some changes. If the children of the illegals are born here we should deny them citizenship. The illegals should have to become citizens of this country before giving their children citizenship. But the best policy is to deport all 11 million of them back to Mexico. Make it a law in every state that companies are not allowed to hire illegals or face a fine of $5000 dollars for each one hired. They are taking a lot of jobs Americans should have and we have to resolve this matter.

I agree if the parents are illegally here in the U.S., then their children born here should not automatically become U.S. citizens. That has been abused for years by pregnant Mexicans coming here to have their children (without paying the hospital bills I'm sure) and then let them hang onto public services and drain those programs. Why do school districts have to take buses to the borders to pick up Mexican children for school? That is ridiculous!!
