Perhaps Mr. McCain should remember that even in military tribunals, the defendents are given access to lawyers. In addition, there is no guarantee that they will talk then either.

Osama Bin Ladin is a direct fabrication of the Republican Party.

He doesn't exhist, not at all. He's only drawn upon when they need a bad guy or to instill fear into the flock...

Why else do you think he's never going to be caught - He doesn't exhist.

seems funny to me that each time things don't look good for the republicans Osama mysteriously appears....

lol

McCain, you need to shut up NOW. You already proved your irrelevance by bending over and putting Palin on your ticket, one of the worst political blunders ever in the history of the United States. Now you demonstrate you have little knowledge of the law and even less respect for it. I suppose all those vaunted liberties that Repubs keep caterwauling about that make America so great only apply to you and your fellow white millionaires?

McCain has destroyed whatever good will he once engendered. Now he is just pathetic, showboating for Faux News monkeys and the mouthbreathers who slavishly eat up the fallacious fairy tales they make up.

And shame on CBS and Bob Schieffer for kowtowing to McCain and his fellow fear mongering, morally bankrupt brethren with the "heads should roll" stupidity - why in name of Miranda v Arizona should heads roll for following due process?!! Thank GOD - yes, the same God whom Repubs claim to worship but instead pain with their antics - McCain and Palin aren't in the White House right now.

Here is a man, McCain who has sworn to uphold and defend the Constitution and he apparently only has a TV knowledge of Miranda. You only need to Mirandize someone if you want to use there statements against them in a court of law. For example, if they weren't going to prosecute the pantie bomber for knowing where Bin Laden is, they could certainly use any comments he makes about the whereabouts of Bin Laden to go get Bin Laden. It's not as if such "tainted" information would affect the legitimacy of Bin Laden's capture. Therefore Sen. McCain, we can afford to follow our laws and still get the job done. We don't have to resort to abdicating our rights so that you and the rest of the government can catch a bunch of thugs.

Skinheads, neo-Nazi, the KKK, et al are small, freakish organizations so heavily penetrated by the FBI and other law enforcement agencies that they can't do any real damage. And they have no widespread support. If only 10% of Islam is radicalized, and that is probably a small percentage, that amounts to 150,000,000 people. I never proposed a Crusade. A Crusade to do what? Recapture the Holy Land? We are at war at war with a religion. Wierd isn't it. But denying it doesn't change the fact, nor stop their attacks.
