- This is not a blame exercise, it is about improving the system. They probably need to do a review every year and have not done one recently. Some methods may not work well and some may not be done at all. We need to adapt and improve daily if we are to do an effective job.

- I'm being patient with Obama, it isn't like he's some sort of superhuman. There are a lot of things that are wrong with this country and sadly this apple's rot starts from the core. I do have to wonder though why nobody did anything about TSA for so long. I worked along side them, if you call what they do 'work', and they were no better at security than a Tiger is at being faithful. I will tell you this though, the next attack can be easily perpetrated by flight crew and anyone we allow through security with special privileges by allowing them to bring fluids etc... though unrestricted. So far, all we have done though, is complain. How many of us have actually tried to do something about TSA? They took jobs away from professionals in the private sector who actually knew what they were doing, knew how to treat passengers, and got you through security fast and safely. TSA is just a bunch of high school drop outs that took the job to feel important. I had been selected twice to become a TSO but after working for another company in the airport i was in, I realized that it was a farce. I have friends that quit TSA because they were being persecuted for actually giving a damn and doing their jobs. The solution to this problem is to dissolve TSA -- stop using our tax dollars to pad the wallets of lazy idiots. I guess Obama was clueless about TSA's attitude towards him. So many of them would attack passengers for wearing Obama shirts, treating them unfairly, giving them extra screening and saying some very unprofessional things because they thought they were invincible. Right before our office was closed down by the airport, almost all employees at TSA had to be fired because they failed security tests MISERABLY. I used to think TSA was cool, until I worked with them. They are ugly people, at least the majority of them. Several times have I needed help because a drunk passenger, for example, would not leave me alone, and I actually expected TSA to do its job and enforce security at the checkpoint. I'm a petite woman and wasn't allowed any sort of taser or pepper spray at work. As soon as the drunk guy moved up to the checkpoint they sent him back to me - they actually pointed at me and told him 'hey, why don't you go talk to her instead'. I told him to go away and they kept sending him back, talking like a crazy person, asking personal questions, his hand was bleeding, and TSA just ignored it all. Then, when they used me as a decoy to make him MISS his flight, he went and found me during my break and started swearing at ME that he missed his flight. This is all I have left to say about TSA -- I hope you end up homeless instead of using our tax payer's money to pay for your paycheck while people like me, people who work their ass off in a job that was supposed to have a career and now can't even get a simple job as a secretary or tech support at some damn electronics store.

- Hey, it's just a National Security issue, and the US government has only been addressing the airport security issue for 30 years or so; give 'em some time to work out the bugs.

- OK, so let's review airport security, including the watch list and detention facilities to protect Americans against those who want to blow us to smithereens....and make sure we read them their rights!
