- Republicans should not be claiming that they care about debt, as the last Republican president to have a budget surplus was Eisenhower.
That said, it has become painfully clear that Obama is either incompetent or just as corrupt as every other politician who has sold his soul to Wall Street and multinational corporations -- or both. His Treasury Secretary, Geithner, put far more money into the pockets of banksters than Bush II's Paulson. And the rumors are flying that Geithner is being considered to replace Bernanke.
The USA is fast on its way to becoming a third-world country where a handful of people control all of the wealth and 90+% live in poverty. - Reply to this comment
