Romney's economic plan was to cut taxes and increase defense spending. I ultimately voted for him, but my support was tepid after I heard that.

The Repubs completely ignored the pre-election report of the $billion$ and $billions$ of dollars of wasted overhead in health care spending. (The Dems missed that one, too.)

Oh well. I just want to get mine before the ********* collapses.

"We are the 'government of the people' party."

So is that why your party keeps Gerrymandering districts and then trying to convert the electoral vote system to a "who gets the most districts" system? Because that doesn't seem like a "government by the people" party to me. Unless you think that only rural voters count as people.

They can't. The money tells them not to. This applies to both parties. It's that simple.

"Republicans "clearly have to change""---Indeed they do and in the process they need to make a clean sweep and dump the tea party, the religious right and the old hacks and replace them with a fresh lot and a for America platform. Oh yeah, and start acting like real conservatives which means conserving resources and not wasting them in unnecessary military expeditions overseas.

The Republicans should make it clear that they will no longer tolerate Newt Gingrich as their Family Values Spokesperson. Sooner or later evidence will be uncovered about Newt's frequent trips to the Mustang Ranch while he was married and held a high position in the House.

I see the democrats and liberals basic principle is to attack the other side. No attempt at logic and if you disagree with them they attack you because how dare we challenge their ideas. Their ideas are perfect. You would think the liberals were fundamentalist who brook no disagreement with their basic priciple's of spend someone else's money and destroy the economic system with no concern for the culture they are destroying with it. They have forgotten the old african saying that if you feed someon he eats for a day but if you teach him to fish he has food for lie
