- Ms Cutter is the one with the lying problem - She is the one who denied knowing the story on that falsehood loaded ad about the worker laid off by Bain - The one where the tried ot blame Rmoney for her not having health care coverage - MS Cutter had participated in a phone interview with the couple before that ad was produced and then denied knowing anything about the couples' situation.

- Obama bet that there was enough of a catastrophe to win him two terms, so he's coasting along on solving the mess that Bush did create.
Bush created it. Obama has refused to fix it.
They fixed it partially - saved the banks - but they decided to deprive citizens of a solution to unemployment and negative equity until a second term was secured.

THEY CANNOT DEFEND OBAMA'S RECORD OF FAILURE OVER THE LAST FOUR YEARS, 16 TRILLION DOLLARS IN DEBT WITH 5 TRILLION DURING OBAMA'S TERM, $716 BILLION STOLEN FROM MEDICARE SO THEY COULD PAY FOR OBAMACARE, UNEMPLOYMENT OVER 8% DURING HIS ENTIRE PRESIDENCY, WITH 15% UNEMPLOYMENT FOR BLACKS AND LATINOS, 26 MILLION UNEMPLOYED, SO THEY USE THE WELL KNOW TACTIC OF DIVIDE AND CONQUER TO DISTRACT THE VOTERS, BUT IT IS NOT GOING TO WORK THIS TIME AROUND.

- The difference between conservatives and liberals is this....and explains why conservatives and Republicans are caught in lies much more often than liberals.
Liberals see reality as it really is and discuss the pros and cons about the facts. This can get into nuances and grey areas about problems and answers on how to solve the problems. This can be time-consuming, and frustrating, especially to those Americans who want short simple answers so they turn to Conservatives.
Conservatives have a reality as the way they want it to be and then create 'facts' or 'straw men' or illusions to support it if it isn't there. Don't get me wrong.... they can be 'intelligent' people..... but they can put up blinders to any facts that disagrees with the world view they want. Yet...... they do tend to have simpler answers than the liberals and they do have the best one-liners and guffaw, knee-slapping, in-yo-face puts downs that conservative (especially men) really like. And they are good at manipulating, making people fearful, and whipping up anger....much better than the liberals.
That is why Conservatives have to lie more often. It just the way they look at reality.

- We'll just see how many lies the Democrats tell this week! I'm thinking they'll tell just as many or more than the GOP told last week! I doubt they'll be fact checked nearly as much though! In fact Cutter has already told one and their convention hasn't even begun yet! The GOP don't consider lying to be a virtue any more than the Democrats do!

- When Romney met with bended-knee with Boehner, McConnell, Cantor, and Ryan earlier this year they basically said to him the following:
OK Mitt, We'll get you the Presidency. Ann can finally get what she has wanted for years - to be the First Lady. We'll support you as we would any Republican BUT we set the agenda. We've basically gummed up the government for four years so so it doesn't work and the American people will blame Obama. And our messaging machine has developed an army of angry (mostly white) Tea Party people who will be your shock troops for doing the logistical dirty work (going door to door etc.) BUT when you gain the Presidency, you and Ann will only have to be the perfect Presidential couple and we'll do the policy and legislative work. All you got to do is look good, say the right things, and sign the bills. Get it?

- No one in America wants socialism or in any way claims to be a socialist. True Christian values recognize community values. It's the cynical right that is unable to grasp and deal with responding in a civil manner because reason defies their claim. Dredging up derogatory terms like lib and socialist and yelling it at the top of their lungs is the hypocrisy of their evangelical claims.
I'll go to the ends of the earth to support and applaud "venture" capitalism, however, I'll also go to the ends of the earth to denounce and boo "vulture" capitalism. - Reply to this comment
