- Shame on you CBS. I have always been a loyal viewer and believed CBS stood out above the rest. CBS allowed Norah O'Donnell to deceive viewers by reporting on the campaign and President Obama when she is clearly biased because her husband Dan Senor, works for Romney and Ryan's campaign. Each time she talks about or scrutinize the campaign CBS should disclose to the viewers her very close relationship with the Romney Campaign. I don't expect O'Donnell to be honest, I expected CBS to be. Shame on you CBS, I am truly disappointed.

- Obamacare really does help people. why don't these people rail against the welfare we give to big oil companies and other countries? Take the top 10 countries we give welfare money in the form of aid, and bring it back to America. Obama never shared ideologies with Alinsky and Alinsky did not shape him. Where is your hate for Ryan who does share the ideology of a Russian atheist who Ryan said is the reason he got into politics and he made all of the interns who work for him read Ayn Rand. Obama did not invent class warfare, society did. The haves can commit murder and hire a dream team and get off, the haves can get in on the ground floor of great investments that the average Joe won't even hear of. The haves can get their kids in better schools, the haves get better health care, and on and on. All Obama has done is tried to level the playing field of fairness to help the middle class. Obama understands the difficulty in families trying to juggle braces for the kids, school, bills etc., Romney has never had that problem because his kids have a 100 million dollar trust fund and numerous houses. There is something very dangerous about a man like Romney who is hiding so much from the American people. Romney invested in foreign businesses that were in competition with Americans, he invested in foreign car companies while tellong Detroit to go bankrupt, that is a traitor to his country. Obama's money is in an America bank, Romney's money is in several banks in foreign countries. Hard working Americans simply want fairness, that is what Obama has been trying to do, which is why the big banks and greedy businessmen do not like him. If he did what they wanted to the detriment of the middle class, bankers would love him. IRS requires you to file forms declaring your off shore money, Romney did not, until he was caught and running for office, that's a tax cheat. He laid around in a luxury mansion in France instead of serving the country he wants to run. His 5 healthy son's refuse to go serve their country while thousands die in a war that Bush lied and got us into. Romney's casino donor wants war and Romney will take us into another war while his healthy sons lay around and live off of money they did not earn. So if you just hate Obama okay, but don't try to make up excuses for your very biased hate.

- It's not rocket science ... increase good paying employment, which increases overall American income, which provides more taxable income, which provides more revenue without increased tax percentage rates, which then reduces the deficit. The wealthy understand the power of percentage multiplication ... so, why not apply it to the economy? Duh?
Corporate profits are at all time highs and worker productivity is contributing to the bottom line ... it's time to raise worker wages across the board instead of just raising executive compensation. - Reply to this comment

- Ah good old Grover Norquist - the true reason behind the partisan divides and the constant bickering. He surely is a man who cannot seem to grasp the idea that taxes actually pay for essential infrastructure. He thinks that roads, hospitals, schools, police etc. just magically appears over night. Hey Grover, why not let people who knows what theyre doing and actually got a sense of reality handle politics?

- Norquist is a propagandist for the 1%. He cares NOTHING about poor Americans who are affected by a tobacco tax. It's a talking point that allows him to pretend to be something he's not.
Norquist probably thinks the tanning salon tax hurts the poor. (Grover: Poor folks don't go to tanning salons!)
As a 50-year smoker, the Obama tobacco tax didn't bother me, but the latest increase in our state tax convinced me to cut my daily intake in half. It was actually rather simple: instead of keeping a pack of cigarettes and a lighter with me at all times, I put my open pack in a dresser drawer in my bedroom. If I want a cigarette, I have to walk 20 to 40 feet, and sometimes I just decide not to go there. That's not a bad thing...particularly from a health point of view! - Reply to this comment
- Since the Left thinks that raising taxes is such a great idea, why don't we raise taxes on everyone.....that will surely get the economy humming.
