" because now more than ever we need real reporting on this presidency, on national security, on all of these areas" Bernstein thinks the Main Stream Media does real reporting? With the exception of Sharyl Attkisson and her nonpartisan fast and furious reporting, the MSM is nothing but an Obama propaganda machine.

I'd be fascinated to know if "Woodstien" would ever appear with any of the "Presidents Men" on the same stage to discuss Watergate.

This is beating a dead horse.Obviously, the Watergate thing has become a gift that goes on giving in hard cash for these two guys. The story now is more about them, not Nixon.

"The two veteran journalists called President Gerald Ford "courageous" for pardoning Nixon. They said that decision probably lost him the 1976 election.
Woodward said he'd spent time talking to Ford about the pardon, asking him, "Why did you do this?' And he finally said, 'I didn't do it for Nixon, I didn't do it for myself, I did it for the country.-----------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------
I, like most voters at the time, voted for Carter instead of Ford because we were fairly sure that Ford had already agreed to grant the Nixon pardon as a part of the bargain of being made vice president, and Nixon's ultimate successor.

"witch hunt" is right up there with "oh that's politics" those terms are so over used that it a robotic scapegoat-er. "witch hunt", "oh that's politics" are more knowingly used now a days to conceal wrong doings. How is it Obama did nothing about the leaks, until he was being investigated? And from Eric Holder, he is having the lawyers investigate were the leaks illegal, therefore Eric Holder knows they were leaks. Eric Holder's delay, delay, delay again when it who committed the leaks, not whether the leaks are legal or illegal.

Republicans don't care about outcome. They only want Obama out, and will only revel if the country is further hobbled, in their minds increasing their chances of Romney winning in November. Remember Whitewater?

The fact of the matter is that wrongdoing is only proven if substantial harm to national security is proven. And there isn't a whiff of that in this matter.
