- Nice try, Bob Schrum. Accusing John Boehner of not being able to bring his caucus together last summer. I still want to hear the truth that it was the other side that screwed the deal. I believe both sides decided not to tell the public what really happened. I still believe the Obama couldn't get the Hank Reids of the world to concede and Reid and Pelosi would not allow Obama to do the deal. Cantor was a real pain in the arse, but I still side with Boehner that he got the Tea Party to actually do what was necessary. It stinks that we may never know. Washinton stinks these days.

- We can all play "what if" games, but remember what happened when Bush and Paulsen came in with their 3 page memo demanding $700 billion with NO conditions, to make up for their ignoring the sub prime bubble.
Remember the inauguration day in January 2009 when there were no lavish parties, the President had to get down to business and save the country. There was NO honeymoon and everyone knew it.
This President has done a lot to help this country, unlike Bush who took so much time off in Crawford or Reagan who slept in and could not be bothered. - Reply to this comment
- Facts are facts....obama is the "WORST" President America has ever had...including Jimmy Carter. My money & my vote is going to Mr. Romney. I voted for him (obama) once, he will NOT fool me again!

- Bob Shrum was a "player" in Democratic politics 20 years ago; he hasn't been taken seriously by most people in this century. I have no idea why Bob Schieffer would have him on "Face the Nation," unless he's just trying to be nice to an irrelevant senior citizen.

- It's refreshing to hear a Democrat come out and be honest - Bob Shrum's comments are awesome!
Because it's been painful to watch the Democrats like the Pennsylvania guy come out week after week and tout the stupid party lines, because you listen to them and you become so keenly aware that Barack's not going to stand a chance in November and it's stressful.
A true Democrat needs to be honest to share Team Obama out of their stupor and light a fire under them. Otherwise we're looking at President Romney for 4 years ... omg ... :/ - Reply to this comment
- Well I will be voting for the President I have lived through Rommey and once is enough.

- I am afraid that Mr Liar is going to be Mr. President and the world will call him Mr. Liar and we will get downgraded again because of Republican ignorant policy, stagnant economics created by the GOP Congress and failure to grow as we will with another four years of President Obama.
No matter who is President the rough road ahead is not going to be pretty
but Mr Liar Romney is not helping our integrity level he is downgrading it. - Reply to this comment
- Big Oil is not looking out for us. Care to notice the people advertising scare tactics blaming the President on everything are supported by the Koch Brothers AKA The Koch Industries.
Koch Brothers spit propaganda and fools lick it up.
Mr. Liar Romney has many problems. Weakness does nothing but build mediocrity. He really could screw up everything in this country in four years as President. I hope enough people realize that he just is a
George W. Bush Republican. If that doesn't make you want to throw up I don't know what will. - Reply to this comment
