Why should Obama be the only one, Mitch?

AOCGUY: "It is clear to me that the rael problem in Washington is the existance of political partys (well at least the two main partys). Regardless of which party wins the presidential election in any given election year it becomes the losing parties primary goal on day 1 to ensure that the winner is a 1 term president. That attitude hurts the American people. The two main partys exist only to obtain and retain political and economic power. If they truely had the welfare of this country as a priority you would see partys supporting positions and even candidates of the opposition when it is obvious that that position or individual is best for the nation. The fact that that has NEVER happened even once in the last 50 years is proof that the partys DO NOT CARE for America."

While you make some very valid points, I think you miss the fact that both reagan and bush junior (right after 9/11) had support from millions in the other party, and I've never seen leaders from the other party like mcconnell and boehner saying that their #1 priority is to make Obama a one-term President......NEVER!

But, I certainly agree there is too much power and greed with the two major parties today -- one of the reasons I've never belonged to any political party in my life -- and we certainly need new blood into our political system that has become so polarized and divided today, giving us a completely dysfunctional congress that won't change any time soon.

Had McCain been elected instead of Obama, how would you have seen the executive deal with the economy? Where do you think we would be econoically at this point at specifically, what would have McCain done to get us to that point? And PLEASE, don't say he "wouldn't have done this or that" rather say what he WOULD have done.

I ask this question not to compare Obama with Romney but to understand the criticsm of Obama's actions up to this point. If you belive that Obama has done a poor job then I would assume that you also belive that McCain would have done a better job - so what would he have done?

Looks like the "handout" and "robisch" snipers have made their shots and left, like typical fox/rush parrots of all the republican talking points!

alanrobisch: "occupy you are a liberal of the first order and ignore the near banlruptcy<sic> that he has ated<sic>"

LOL!

First you get in the dig of liberalism being a "dirty word," and then only have a conservatroll need to attack our fiscal-irresponsibility by BOTH parties as "near bankruptcy," without understand that the biggest problem today since 2000 has been our severe revenue problem of a mere 14% of GDP when post-WWII average revenue is 18.5% of GDP.

Obviously, we haven't been taking in enough revenue since 2000 in the republican greatest transfer of wealth in our history, but apparently your fox/rush multi-millionaire talking heads don't think they should be paying their FAIR SHARE and just want to horde all the wealth in America, and have the conservatrolls convinced of this great plan!

needahandout: "The fact is the labor force participation rate is lower than it has been in 30 years, it's as simple as that. Your private sector job growth is no reason for dancing in the aisle".

OK, so after you got the conservatroll attacks out of the way, all you have is some disingenuous figures that your fox/rush propagandists keep spewing, along with your incessant need to belittle those still in need from the bush/cheney Great Recession.

The one FACT that goes against conservatroll 'thinking' is that 10,000 baby boomers are retiring DAILY, and have been leaving the workforce due to age -- not necessarily because of the economy, although I'm sure there are plenty of workers over 50 that are having a hard time today.

I never said, nor has President Obama or any Democrat said that it is time to "dance in the aisle," especially given the deep hole we've been digging out of since 2006, but at least there has been continuous private-sector job creation since 2009, while we've seen a loss in both state and federal government jobs.

Problem is, the average economic growth during bushworld was only 1.9% GDP -- terrible for the "boom" years of the "housing bubble" that you conservative republicans want to return to, with MORE OF THE SAME failed GOP "supply side economic insanity".

Fact is, the 'lyin' ryan' budget of austerity will make us drop back into another recession, if not republican depression, since it's spending cuts that slow economic growth, and that's all the GOP has!

McConnell, Boehner and Cantor have no honor...My lord Boehner and Cantor are not even in control of the House. Their actions and lack of action have been that of a pre-adolescent teen throwing a temper tantrum because they can't have things their way.

chevyhotrod: "Average American family does not need help, they need to be left alone so they can work and support their families"

LOL!

YOU are truly out-of-touch, and obviously the fox political network of multi-millionaire talking heads, doesn't want to show you the TRUTH and all the average Americans hurting terribly under republican "supply-side economic insanity" as the middle class continues to evaporate!

Why do you 'think' the income inequality has grown so bad for 30 years?

McConnell said "this president needs to become the adult" when it comes to the long-term debt, adding that he and House Speaker John Boehner "have been the adults in the room arguing that we ought to do something about the nation's most serious long-term problem."
************************************************

Really???? Are you serious????? LMAO!!!!! Mcconnel and the "weeper of the house" John Boehner have done NOTHING but act like children having a temper tantrum because they absolutely REFUSE to raise taxes on the wealthy. No compromise there! Just because Obama (the adult) won't give in to their demands and let them "have their way" those little spoiled BRATS refuse to back anything. That tells me just who the real "children" in the government are!!!!!!!!!!!
Kick them out of our government and let them go back to kindergarden where they belong!!!!!!

See "progress," most of the fox/rush parrots don't even understand that the PPACA doesn't help the "needy," but helps the middle class that can no longer afford our over-priced health care!

How can anyone rationally discuss the PPACA with morons?

=====
The_Bad_Ranger: "Who are you personnally attacking with the offensive term "Moron" Occupy?"
=====

Thanks for proving my point park ranger, since most of you personal attackers don't know what a personal attack actually is, and is why you get booted all the time, like danny boy, DJ, Unamerican and YOU!

Just to clear it up for the non-thinking fox/rush parrots that only post knee-jerk political rhetoric and personal attacks -- the sentence above is a blanket statement about "morons," but not calling anyone in particular a "moron," like DJ does every day.

But, if the shoe fits..........WEAR IT "ringer."
