It appears the republicans are suffering from selective memory ...

Is it possible for a negative campaign to produce positive results? All I have heard so far from the republicans are generalities. Where are the specifics? What exactly will be cut, who exactly will profit? I remember the feeling in the country when the Bush administration was leaving office ... can the republicans honestly claim the current situation is worse?

Well okay then. 23M people out of work, underemployed, or no longer working (i.e. not officially counted in unemployment numbers). Okay I can buy that.

But how many people were out of work, underemployed, or no longer looking back in 2009 when the unemployment rate was just under 10%? Is the Romney campaign claiming that MORE people are out of work or no longer working NOW than in 2009? Show me the comparison.

I would challenge the campaign to produce the comparative numbers showing just how "worse" Obama made the economy since taking office. We've had 23 months of job growth, unemployment now stands at 8.3%, and even the housing market is showing signs of life in some parts of the country.

Proof please...No anecdotes or carefully crafted stats. You brought up the 23M number now show us that same statistic from 2009/2010 at the depth of the Great Recession.

I'm working on a new bumper sticker. So far, it's:

Don't let the GOP
crash the economy again.

Fehrnstrom is stating what I have stated from the get go. Obama is one and done, he was an unknown, and a media darling in 2008. His policies and politics have harmed millions who supported him in 2008. Our nation was in a downturn when he took over, and he promised to "hit the ground running". Then for two years we listened to Obamacare where the government has mandated that the public will buy something whether they want it or not or go to jail, creating debtors prisons. Obamacare gives the insurance companies the right to take you to court, to seize your homes and personal property and sell it so they get an insurance premium. Obama rammed this down the throat of an unwilling population. Obama demonstrated he was a dictator, he behaved like he thinks he is a genii. The facts are his timing of Obamacare could not have been worse, the economy was and still is in a tailspin and the public cannot now and could not then afford the premiums of Obamacare. Thankfully we have a Supreme court which will relieve the public of Obama's dictates and follow our constitution which Obama has usurped.

"Here's a number you're going to hear a lot on this campaign: 23 million reasons to vote for Mitt," Fehrnstrom said on "Face the Nation.

Wow, I thought he was talking about how much Mitt spent beating Santorium and Gingrich.
