- I thought Ron Paul was a lot smarter than this. The only way to fix the GOP freak-show that's running this country now is to get rid of them and start over from scratch Did you ever hear that saying "you can't shine a turd?" Well that's what the Boehner, McConnell gang are, turds. They're bought and paid for turds that'll throw the American people right under the bus to serve their corporate masters. Go look at Ryan's budget, which the whole GOP support. They gut the whole country, then they hand it all to Wall Street cronies and Defense contractors.

- Dr. Paul has the right direction but has been totally left out in the cold by his party(since Noah's arch!)
There is evidently a generationial change which has taken place and it is unfortunate. Egocentrical and dogmatic, this younger politcal class has seemingly not learned the lessions of modesty, frugiality, and respect.
this does not bode well for our country's future as the present shows us we are bankrupt, involved in too many wars, and allowing our middle class to fall into poverty.
As has often been said, even the greatest fortune can be destroyed. - Reply to this comment
- 50 years in journalism and that is the best Harry could do? What an embarrassment! Democracy fails because of two major reasons, the influence of special interests and voter ignorance. Way to go on both counts, Harry! Hope you enjoy your big bonus.

- If you ever heard Ronald Reagan talk about government being to big and spending too much, then Ron Paul can prove he was listening. Ron Paul is actually correct with many of his insightful views and has more power to threaten an Obama re-election than anyone else.

- "When you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing; when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors; when you see that men get rich more easily by graft than by work, and your laws no longer protect you against them, but protect them against you... you may know that your society is doomed."

- what a retarded line of questioning. glad I don't watch face the nation anymore.
Ron Paul is the only one that actually cares about the individual.
Santorum was voted in the twenty most corrupt politiicians.
Romney only cares about Goldman Sachs (gold in my sachs)
Ron Paul will restore the nation.
Gee run the nation according to the constituion what a concept.
America needs to wake up. We are run by the central bank just like Europe.
Do some research and look up the what the four presidents that have been assasinated have in common.
They all wanted American to stop using the central bank. Two of them Kennedy and Lincoln actually started printing their own money. Lincoln went to the central bank for money to fight the civil war and they wanted to charge him 25% interest so he started to print America's own money and won the civil war and ended slavery.
Wake up America - we are not America currently we are just an extension of Europe. - Reply to this comment
- The Texas Rep. said on CBS News' "Face the Nation" that he is "trying to save the Republican Party from themselves."

- "The truth is, I'm trying to save the Republican Party from themselves because they want perpetual wars; they don't care about presidents who assassinate American citizens; they don't care about searching our houses without search warrants," Paul said.
