- There should be an air horn or a loud siren that goes off (like before a tornado hits) when Santorum is about to open his mouth. That way, sane people can run for cover.

- The opinions of a religious right wing nutter like Rick "Forthy Mixture" Santorum should overrule whatever medical decisions a woman and her doctor want to make.

- But Ricky boy, amnio can also identify a problem that CAN be treated and prepared for treatment. Sometimes treatment can be started before the child is born to give the baby a head start. Prospective parents can choose not to have the amnio.

- No wonder that the people of Pennsylvania had the good sense to throw this guy out of office.

- This guy is so out of line it is insane (like him and others like him). When will they just "Get off our backs?" about this issue. They have no rights to tell women what to do with their own bodies. They need to back off (or just join the Taliban, like the others who want to tell everybody else what to do..) You Xtians have no rights to say anything about what the rest of us do or don't do. PERIOD! So Get off your sanctimonious High Horse and mind your own business. I don't care what your little Invisible Friend thinks...

- How does this think he can attract voters with this type of slanderous attack on the president? Social-issue voting Republicans are some the most judgemental people on the planet, and this guy has the nerve to call Democrats "elitist snobs" and "intolerant". Yeah, I'm intolerant of his verbal garbage, and therefore would never get my vote.

- Many procedures, including this one and in vitro, can also bring about spontaneous abortions. I wonder when Santorum is going to come out in favor of infertile women just accepting the will of God and not go through these procedures at all. If abortion is wrong and goes against the will of God, so to is not accepting infertility. The argument can be made either way.

- Just when you thought being "the Senator from the Vatican" was bad enough, Ricky's managed to move even farther out - the Candidate from the Taliban? I don't know which is scarier, this guy's 14th-century views or the fact that a third of the country agrees with him. Wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross, right.
