- This moron is just so wrong in so many ways. Where in hell does he think that my employer has a right to decide what medical procedures are appropriate for me???? My employer should decide what pre-natal tests are appropriate for my kid????? Does he have any idea how a seriously disabled baby puts a family in life-long misery for everyone???? First the parents get fired from their job because of the insurance hikes, then every dollar that's left goes to hospitals. Turning a personal family decision into a sinister Obama plot to cull the disabled ..... absolutely reprehensible. Why does Santorum want to foster a disabled population? They're not able to go out in the world and kill all the people who disagree with Santorum's values, and their not likely to spawn babies who will be able to kill those he doesn't like. No Crusaders from the disabled crowd, so Santorum will just have to kill them later anyway.

- Another GOP boogieman issue. One in 200 chance of this test causing a miscarriage, one in 3000 chance of a Downs syndrome baby, no-brainer decision for a woman under 35. And if the tests Insanitorium approves of show horrible deformities? How do you like the GOP having its arm up your womb?

- The REAL scary message is how many "Christians" believe that Santorum is their choice. I put the term "Christians" in quotes because his views are so anti those of Jesus Christ. Evidently he, and his wife, do believe their views to be the views of their church ... I have many Catholic friends who are appalled at their interpretation of the teachings of the church.
As for his other views: He home schools his children (and many families do) BUT Santorum would abolish government - federal and state - support for public schools. (I am not sure how he feels about Private schools. Just think how that belief will impact on our countries ability to compete in the world.
His "tax" plan would result in massive deficits;!
He is a danger to our country! - Reply to this comment

- Come on republicans, this is the best you have. If you weren't so vile and worthless, I might feel sorry for you.

- If Mr. Santorum had adopted a couple of babies with birth defects, or even a couple of healthy orphans, I might have a shred of respect for him.
He didn't. I don't. - Reply to this comment
- Having just read all these comments I'm thinking many of them must be from Obama's army of paid social media posters.
I just watched Santorum on today's Face the Nation, Rick Santorum did not take any crap from Bob and did not let him get away with false statements. On the question of pre-natal testing Rick's conviction comes from personal experience. One of his now healthy children would have been advised to be aborted based on current testing parameters.
I'd love to see Rick Santorum debate Barack Obama. - Reply to this comment
- Apparently Santorum thinks he's running for Pope. I note he never objected to prenatal testing coverage being provided at taxpayer expense for all members of Congress until they die. Both his stillborn child and his daughter with E trisomy also benefited from overly generous insurance coverage for their medical care. Other couples aren't so fortunate but Rick doesn't worry about parents who can't afford the millions of dollars it takes to care for a child with severe birth defects just as long as no tax dollars are used to pay for it. Santorum is nothing but a Pharisee disguised as a Christian but there's nothing Christian about his proposed policies.

- What a bunch of whiners. That about sums up the Republican candidates for President. "He who casts the first stone....". These guys are all out there lying there u know what's off, slinging mud like no tomorrow, and generally behaving like a bunch of name calling bullies, YET!, when the media calls them on their games, it's the "liberal media" doing it to me, or "I'm being singled out" (the I'm special syndrome), blah blah this, blah blah that...yet they continue in their absurd falsehoods and name calling, each time expecting different results. Well boys, man up, if you are going to blow hot air, expect the room to get overheated.
Personally, I'm looking to vote for an adult to run our country. Adults are best judged by their actions, and those that spew a lot of self-justification just don't hack it in my book.
This is why I like Obama. He acts like an adult and quietly goes about his way. When he was elected he told the American public outright that it would be a long haul before the economy started getting on track. The results are starting to come in, our auto industry is strong, job growth is stable and increasing, employment is down, we are out of Iran, Bin Laden is toast, and we have a beautiful family with beautiful well-behaved children and a man in the White House with a brain and humility. - Reply to this comment
