- It seems very obvious to me that kids are being trained by digital technology -in games-to be killers. The most popular games are based upon murdering as many people as quickly as possible. As a boy, we used to play baseball. Now kids play games, which train them to kill. Of course we are going to see more and more mass murder, even if guns are removed. The problem is in the culture, the people, and their perspective about life. If these kids do not use guns they will use some other means to kill. That is their objective.

- I believe it is time for Mr. Schieffer to get real. Does he really think the issue with the Newtown killings is gun control. He should be advocating for more funding for the mentally ill instead of trying to keep guns from people that got them legally. Maybe if half of the budgets for most mental health treatment centers were not being cut to bare bones we could deal with the real issue here "the people behind the guns and not the guns". These mentally ill people could just as easily have killed with a car, by fire or any other legally accessible tool available. Help the real issue "mental illnes" and stop trying to make it your agenda - Gun Control!!

- Neither party should feel overly confident or defeated over the election. Mr Obama was elected by a minority of the total registered voters because so many voters didn't like either candidate they didn't vote. It is shameful that so many chose not to vote. In summary the Democrats & the Republicans can't honestly say a majority of people agree with them because no one actually recv'd a majority of the total registered voters. For the next 4 yrs we will have the minority choice of the total voter base ruling us. Hopefully next time we will have a higher % of voters vote so we may have a winner with a majority of total registered voters.

- Obama is a communist. Just read up on Stanley Ann Dunham and her parents on Mercer Island. The House UnAmerican Activities caught up with them. That's why they took off for Hawaii - where they hooked up with their team - Dunham was an organizer for the communist party in her high school - the whole town was upset, but not the Dunhams. The Dunhams were leading the commie charge. Axelrod and Jarrett went to the same schools - the communist party was setting up special high schools to recruit students - until they got caught - The fact that CBS News failed to bring you this story, shows complicity and cover-up. Bob Schieffer is an old, and very stupid old man.

- I listened to part of Face The Nation, just moments ago,and heard Bob Schieffer make the mistake of repeating what the moderator Candy Crawley had said, actually in the Rose garden terroist attack was mentioned but not as just happening, but this comment is about something else that was said, voters sometimes counted by what they are registered as.. hmm,me and most of of my family are registered Democrats, but as for me and my coal miner family in Virginia, W.Va. and Ohio, would never vote for Obamba..I see Romney as a good person,a smart Business man,a person that can lead, and I hope he will be our next president.

- I do not see major policy differences between the two candidates - style differences, yes, but not significant policy differences. I would love to see the format thrown out and foreign policy forgotten about - lets get back to what matters - spend the 90 minutes debating what the two candidates plan to do when they are (re)elected. No beating around the bush - specifics. No feel good clean energy answers. What are your priorities and how will you pay for them. Any answer that diverges from addressing the future means your microphone is turned off and your opponent is given the opportunity to speak. If both are off we can all stare at two idiots on stage who are unable and unwilling to talk about what matters to Americans - looking forward what do we need to do to steady our economy and country.

- I don't believe Mr. Schieffer can be a moderator who will look equally at both Presidential candidates tonight! I have watched him in the past several months continue to support our current president even though ridiculous things are being said and done in Washington. When we will get the president and his wife's spending under control!?! They take more vacations in one year than most middle class families can take in five years! I would have to see their personal bank statements before I would believe they are paying for those trips and extras with their own money. I want to see a fair moderation of the debate tonight... it certainly was embarrassing to watch Ms. Crowley last week as she tried to keep things "balanced" but we knew who she was really rooting for! We need a change for this country and four more years of what we have had to endure is not what will get this country back on its feet. "Forward"... we cannot afford to move forward with the current administration! I believe in what Mr. Romney is standing for and I whole-heartedly agree with him!! He and Mr. Ryan have my vote any day of the week... out with the old and in with the new!

- Cuba's welcome announcement of the end of the exit visa travel restriction poses two challenges to the Obama Administration and to its potential Romney successor:
1) Political
Cuba is giving its citizens more freedom to travel to the US than the US gives its citizens to travel to Cuba. The White House should respond by using its power to allow all non tourist travel to Cuba without applying for a license, our equivalent of the White Card. It must also press Congress to abolish all travel restrictions.
2) Legal
The Cuban Adjustment Act and wet foot dry foot policy must be suspended and repealed. With Cubans free to travel to Mexico and Canada, 'step across the border' economic migration will become a bigger problem.

- Mr. Schieffer,
I really hope you read these comments and take them to heart as you head into your role as moderator of this last debate. I do have concerns that you too will favor the democrats with more time as you did so this morning with favoring Cutter with more time than you allowed Madden. I know it takes these dems more time to say nothing but isn't there some law about broadcast stations giving equal time to political candidates? Note that in all 3 previous debates, all moderators favored the democrats with more time. Please, be moderate, regardless of your personal opinion...the American people deserve to see the candidates on equal ground, not ground predetermined by the press. Honestly, I do not really have high hopes for you after Face the Nation this morning but...please try!
Also, I am sick of the Obama camp lame jokes about Big Bird, binders, Romnesia...this is serious business. Does anyone joke about Obama's uuuhhhh's and sputtering starts? Does anyone joke about all the promises he made in 2008 and did not keep? (Jack Abramoff comes to mind...didn't Obama say he would put a stop to all the corrupt lobbying? He couldn't have gotten his Obamacare bill passed without it!!! We, the voters, need to have our problems and concerns taken seriously. All this joking by Obama and his minions makes me think he has to rely on this because he is just an empty shell.
