On "Face The Nation," Vice President Talks About Iraq, Executive Powers, And Why Obama Needs To Keep Gitmo
- That''''s pretty funny. And you were a grunt when?

You first, "hero"....
Ah, what the heck. I wasn''t a "grunt"...I did specialized work in thailand, korea, and okinawa from ''74 through ''80.
You can draw your own conclusion as to the presence or absence of "real service" during my military tours. - Reply to this comment
- Well, I''''''''m kind of fond of Guantanamo too. It''''''''s where the other branch of Satan''''''''s minions are guarded by US Marines. You know, the guys with real military medals.

lollll....always you armchair righties turn to disparaging the service of others.
What is it - your own lack of service in a time of hostilities tweaks your conscience?

- Well, as long as they are military medals. Guns are probably useless against the minions of Satan though.

I said "a probable previous existence as one of...Satan''''s minions".
He obviously is now only a poor caricature of a human being; nothing to fear, really, without the power he gains through manipulating others into committing evil acts.
You know, like at the places like Gitmo that he is so fond of?

- Profoundly put. And, he knows where you live.

Not something that I am concerned with. The evidence suggests that I am a far better shot than he is - and I have the military medals to prove it.

- I suspect that Cheney''''s humanity has been negatively affected by a probable previous existence as one of Satan''''s nearest and dearest minions.

- Cheney is a monster and should most certainly be held accountable for the countless war crimes committed by the Bush administration. He is a disgrace to this formerly great country of ours. Only an absolute fool would defend or support the transgressions of this administration. It is neither noble, nor patriotic to guard the door whilst the fox raids the hen-house. Furthermore, it is truly amazing some people are still in denial about the last eight years.
It''''s very revealing, and very sad.

I suppose they made you take off your clothes too. What complete monsters they are. You will have nightmares for the rest of your life whilst you sleep. Who wants to live in a formerly great country. It''s time for an upstanding patriot like you to pack up and leave. Quickly. Obama, in the mean time will do his best to heal it whilst you are abroad. - Reply to this comment

Your perception of the way that I "talk" is irrelevant to the various publicly admitted crimes of several top Bush regime members, or to the grave necessity that they be held to account for these colossal crimes. - Reply to this comment

You are mistaken.
The People of the United States reserve the sole right and discretion to revise or abolish any element of the US government, including total dissolution, at any time, as we see fit.
We also have a Constitutional obligation to hold war criminals and treasonous actors, such as the members of the Bush regime, to a full accounting for their crimes and abuses, many of which are now openly admitted without remorse.
The Bush regime has left themselves no room to maneuver. Even if we accept their own standards of behavior, and that of their Israeli counterparts, these leaders can be "legitimately" summarily executed by any agent of any foreign government that deems them to be a threat to their security, just as Bush did with Saddam and the Taliban leadership, and just as the Israelis have done, and continue to do, with various elected Palestinian leaders.
There is no sound legal or moral standard that exists that spares the Bush regime criminals from being held accountable from their crimes. - Reply to this comment

- skysblue- and where was the Democratic Congress? Frank defended Fannie as a great company while taking campaign contributions from them and that was when Bush wanted to regulate Fannie. Congress stopped that action, Republicans and Dems alike. But you are way off base letting the Dems escape from blame. Clinton and his Treasurer Secy embrassed the repeal of Glass Steagal. And the Democratic controlled Congress of the 70s forced CRRA on the banks which forced the banks to give risky loans if they were going to be allowed expand. The Dems are knee deep in blame for this and they think they have the answers tosolve the problem. Pretty funny.

- irmcvet- only the Supreme Court can prove an action un-Constitutional in a court of law. What you are talking about is a mob. The people have one shot to express there views with any power and that is on election day.
