- Has anyone noticed how much Axelrod looks like Adolph Hitler? Did anyone ever see pictures of this man during the campaign and election? I sure didn''t. Oh the media is slowly beginning to wake up. I hope not to late.
Also, have you noticed the big deals about people being murdered with handguns. Funny all of this coverage about this subject after the Supreme Court upheld the 2nd Amendment. I think someone is trying to lay groundwork to try and get them to overturn its ruling. However, the precedent is, if the Supreme Court makes a ruling on a article in the Consitution itself, current and future Justices of the Court let it stand. Notice I said articles in the Consitution itself, not some law made by a state or Congress. - Reply to this comment
- It is the hope that we have for all our Presidents. So do I.

- Pretty soon, saying all the right words and posturing must give way to substance.
I hope Obama is up to the task.
The Presidency is a real job. His first real job. It is 24/7 and so complex that he will periodically make mistakes and fail...... can he handle that?
I hope so for all our sake. - Reply to this comment
- Haha! He isn''t suppose to "respond". Bush is still President, unfortunately, but I salute him!

- Oh, so NOW Obama puts Middle East peace on his agenda? And the lapdog media just eats this up!
Why wasn''t this already a top priority for Obama and why hasn''t the media challenged him on it? (Don''t bother responding...it''s a rhetorical question. The media will never challenge him on anything substantive).

- Nice Roudy. I guess you would like to see another 4 years of deregulation, and Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans, the GOP has found itself to be out of touch with mainstream America!

- It''s wonderful he has that idea, so has everyone else. He is dealing with a conflict he has no clue how to handle. No American President ever will.

- Yea, I got it, but how does that relate to the fact that he hasn''t had the ability to do anything yet, and your ability to comment of future decision that he might make? Maybe we will all be surprised, maybe not.

- So, what President has been able to negotiate a lasting peace in that region? Get over it Peace4321

- If the Arabs can''t recognize Israels right to exist after their having been there over 3000 years, The right to exist might have to be achieved by the process of elimination. Get over it.

- Well, he hasn''t had a chance yet to do anything. He will make mistakes, sure, but I guess we will have to wait and see. How can you comment on future decisions? You might be surprised, but then we all might be?

- For all of you looking forward to Change You Can Believe In! Well here is an example how the beloved Obama feels about it. Hope you''re not too disappointed: Asked by the New York Times whether Israel should negotiate with Hamas in Gaza, he replied, %u201CI don''t think any country would find it acceptable to have missiles raining down on the heads of their citizens. The first job of any nation state is to protect its citizens. If somebody was sending rockets into my house where my two daughters sleep at night, I''m going to do everything in my power to stop that. And I would expect Israelis to do the same thing. In terms of negotiations with Hamas, it is very hard to negotiate with a group that is not representative of a nation state, does not recognize your right to exist, has consistently used terror as a weapon, and is deeply influenced by other countries. I think that Hamas leadership will have to make a decision at some point as to whether it is a serious political party seeking to represent the aspirations of the Palestinian people. And, as a consequence, willing to recognize Israel''s right to exist and renounce violence as a tool to achieve its aims, Or whether it wants to continue to operate as a terrorist organization. Until that point, it''s hard for Israel, to negotiate with a country that, or with a group that doesn''t recognize Israel''s right to exist."

- Do you have any ideas or do you just like to shoot from the hip.Does anyone knows how to be a president?
Let him do what he has to do his way and stop complaining. He is not a puppet on your string, he will decide when to say and what to say until he becomes the president and can act.
Never seen such opinionated bunch, since this sitution has been running for 40 years under all presidents, who is at fault here for not bringing peace? Reagan or Bush one and two or maybe Nixon. - Reply to this comment
- Obama dust, hummm, that must some expression of can''t adjust to reality. Maybe a pacifier would help, and I bet George W.''s isn''t busy. Maybe you could call Jeff Gannon, he could come over, you could talk, have some wine, hold one another. Change is difficult, even when it''s for the better. Come on now, you can cope. Hey here''s an idea, if Jeff isn''t available, call Mark Foley, do some phone with him. But above all, relax.

- What is wrong with these people? Don''t hurt Israel and you won''t get hurt! Don''t hurt Israel and you won''t get hurt! On the other hand: keep hurting Israel keep creating terror and the world and every logical minded person in it will want you GONE. Might pay to stop believing in a throat slitting, beheading, cruel and archaic religion ie Islamic Fundamentalism--there''s not much fun but a lot of mentalism!
