- Actually, if our government could level with us, perhaps that would be stimulus enough?
The Bush Administration waited 11th hour to tell us about the crisis, and has said almost nothing except, "We need a bail out". They''ve certainly said nothing to make Main Street believe they''ve gotten a handle on this problem.
So Main Street waits...I''m not spending on big or little purchases, because I''m quite uncertain what tomorrow holds. - Reply to this comment
- Any One who can still Vote RepugnantCon
After 8 Years of Dumbya Bush''s Ineptitude
Is seriously in need of Therapy.
Bush was left a surplus by Clinton--
Proceeded to engage us in an unnecessary war
of Choice, For shady corporate enrichment--
Gave tax breaks and incentives
To Big Oil, and The GOP Defense Conglomerates!!
Deregulated Wall Street--
Causing unbridled Corporate Thievery--
Then Pulled a Commie Chavez Move by
Socializing the banks , and bailing out the Wall Street Incompetent who brought them to bankruptcy!!!
Left us with Two very expensive ongoing wars--
Created The Greatest deficit in the Nation''s history
Outsourced Millions of US jobs-
Lost our respect throughout the world,
Due to Imperialist nation building!!
And still these right wing Bozo''s believe
Bush Mcsame and The GOP did a good job--
The definition of insanity is
To do the same thing over and over
Expecting a different result
Thus the only conclusion is--
The GOP rule over a bunch of Dumba$$ Moron''s
Who will vote for the same Bozo''s who
Left the Country in tatters!!
Time, after time, without accountability!!!

- Stimulus? No. The mere perception that the rich can get away with dealing $1000 to families is enough to expose the fallacious thinking. It doesn''t address income disparity (billionaires), inflation, or even efficiency. Buying and selling should be as it has been: Laissez-Faire; earnings are spent on goods and services (not the bailout), and cash and carry and especially if you don''t want to deal with identity theft issues. I''m glad Congress has deemed us and themselves worthy to cut a $1000 deal, in a democracy, with tax money, during a war on terror, but no this soldier wants to earn a check, and tax money should be spent on public works not corporate buyouts!

- You mean they already did a stimulus package? I thought that money was so that the bankers could get big bonuses. I feel sooo much better now that I understand that the money was used as a stimulus for the economy.

- Right now under the current situation. Both politicians are making promises that will have to change. The question is who can you trust more.
Obama is promising a lot that he can not deliver. When he does delivers to some he will take from others.
We are facing a huge gamble electing him. He has no excutive experience, no foreign policy experience, very little experience in congress. The only thing that he has is the media behind him and this will change the minute that he does not deliver.
I rather bank on someone that at least I know where he has been , what he believes in and what I know I can expect. HONESTY. The fact that he is a republican I don''t care... There are good republicans and bad republicans just like there are good democrats and bad democrats.Elect a president you can trust...
Look at his record, not just in the senate but as a whole person. When this person is tested you will know for sure what he is made of. - Reply to this comment
- "Does The Economy Need Another Stimulus?" HELLO...?
How about this, as posted right here in CBS?:

The Treasury & Corporate America are already (and unashamedly) planning how to p i s s away $700 billion of our money. I don''t think we can afford any more "stimulus..."
Write to your Congress people & tell them to repeal that d a m n bailout bill. - Reply to this comment
- A vote for Obama is a vote for a one world socialist republic. Take a good look at what communism did in Russia, China, Cuba and Korea. A spread the wealth program of take from those who have $250,000 in the bank and give to those who did not earn it is communism either little c or BIG C. Obama is a Communist even if he does not carry a card. Communism is not good for this Republic, it will destroy a nation built on the sacrifices of the past and substitute it with One Worldism. I urge the defeat of Obama and then arrest him for treason.

I am pleased that Mr. Berg will take this case to the Supreme Court.
I am dissappointed that McCain lacks the courage to challenge Soetoro''s natural born status.
However, Ralph Nader is on the ballot of 45 states. If he is willing champion our cause, we should pledge to support him.
If the Chicago media can sue Jack Ryan to have his sealed divorce records opened to embarass him, the American people should be able to unseal everything Barry Soetoro is hiding.
Jack went to *** clubs with his wife. It may turn out Barry''s mom who was 13 had threesomes with Frank Marshall Davis aka Bob Greene. Let''s get dirty. Real dirty. Barry Soetoro''s natural dad is either a Kenyan Marxist or a Hawaiian Marxist sexual predator/pedophile! How''s that for scandal.
Either way, Vote no on Soetoro!
Urge Nader to champion our cause. If he does, he should be our next president.

- What are these people idiots? Leave it alone and it will work itself out. No one is going to take that money and spend it, they are just going to stick it in the bank or pay off debt. Why do these guys become so dumb once they get in office. This includes OBAMA and MCCAIN. What we need is someone that has the strength to quit sugar coating Americans and tell them the hard to swallow facts.
