- As "Dandy Don" Meredith used to sing on Monday Night Football, I can see him singing to the Democrats "The Party''s Overrrr...."
Now we will see whether Obama''s character can handle this slam of losing his lead in a "can''t miss" election. - Reply to this comment
- Sarah Palin is J Edgar Hoover reincarnated - Hoover always wore womens underware and was GAY. Now Palin wears Mens underware and is apparently Homophobic - and just like SEN. CRAIG - "really leans that direction" I bet Palin has not only shot moose but has Muff Dived as well.

- Do a majority of the American people really want more of Bush? McCain = Bush = foreign and domestic policy disaster. The Grand Oil Party stands for the rich elite (McCains outfit cost over $300,000 (more than my house cost). Do the Pubs think we are stupid?

- So much hate from Obama supporters. They even use profanity to drive their causes. That is sad.
If they said McCain voted 90% of the time with Republican party, then they should disclose Obama''s voting records. What is that anyway? - Reply to this comment

- What another spin by the corporate fascist candidate. Why do you think everyone knows this senile war-monger as McSame? Because he voted with McBush 90% of the time. His campaign is run by fascist corporate lobbyists. Some maverick, huh?

Your savior, Obama, will not be able to drop the prices of oil. I don''t know where you are from, but the rule is called "supply & demand," Americans drive less, price goes down. Over all, Obama is an economic idiot. To be honest, you can''t cut taxes for all companies & exclude oil companies, otherwise our economy explodes. If you are going to reduce taxes, you must do it for everything.- Reply to this comment
- Barrack is looking more and more like another Kerry. Following the mantra of Dean-Dukakis-Kerry he is now completely on the defensive and will lose unless there is some bizarre revelation about Cradle Robber McCain or neoconservative hypocrite Palin.
The Dean strategy to lose at any cost is working quite well as he and Kennedy forced longshot at best Barrack on the Democratic party.
It''s interesting to note that MSNBC has now relieved Oberman and Mathews of their political anchor jobs after a year of constant downplaying of Hillary Clinton and constant uplifting of Barrack. Their job is done, they helped make sure that the Dems would nominate a ticket that had little or no chance in the general election.
Now McCain and hypocrite Palin can lie their way to the White House and when McCain''s health falters you will have a Cheney controlled Palin in the White House. I swear I think Dean is a neocon in deep cover. Every move he makes destroys a bit mroe of the Democratic base. Anything is fine with him as long as Hillary doesn''t get elected. - Reply to this comment
- EVERY AMERICAN WHO CAN AFFORD TO PAY MORE THAN FOUR DOLLARS FOR GAS, HEAT THEIR HOMES THIS WINTER WITHOUT SACRIFICING GOOD FOOD, OR CHRISTMAS, SHOULD VOTE FOR MCNOBRAIN. REGULAR HARD-WORKING AMERICANS NEED A BREAK. GO OBAMA/BIDEN!

Tell me how will your Obama-god releive your suffering. What is he going to do?

ROFL! Exactly, you place too much faith in a single man who''s only duty has been to "talk." He speaks out about "Stop thinking & believe in me!" which I believe was how Mussolini & Hitler came to power. Careful of your choices, disparate people will believe in any sign of hope of relief, even if it is from lunatic. - Reply to this comment
- I am so sick of Republicans suggesting that those of us who support Obama see him as a god or a miracle worker. It''s going to take all Americans working together to get us out of the hole we''re in right now. Electing Obama won''t produce any miracles. What we hope is that it will get the hands of big business out of the government pocket before America is reduced to standing on the corner with a tin cup.

You have got to be kidding! I hope this was a tongue-in-cheek attack on Republican values. With the flaming reactionaries that sometimes post here, it can be hard to tell. - Reply to this comment

- "While they are sitting in there fancy leather chairs, being driven around by various motorcades, how much is coming out of their wallets to put gas in the tank to get to and from work? Time for change and taking care of the American people is long overdue.
When our men and women come back form Iraq, with a nation hurting for jobs now...what jobs will be waiting for them?"

- After going unsold for months, the jet was put into the hands of Turbo North Aviation, an Anchorage aircraft broker, which put an asking price of $2.45 million on the nearly $2.7 million jet. It quickly sold to Alaska businessman Larry Reynolds for $2.1 million ($31,000 of which went to Turbo Aviation). Today the Westwind II jet spends its days ushering wealthy hunters around Alaska and Russia
.
So why on earth would Palin lie about this, knowing that it would bring scrutiny to this story, and knowing that the scrutiny would reveal that a) the auction wasn''t successful, b) she lost the State of Alaska''s money on the deal, and c) the state''s valuable resource had basically become a luxury for wealthy elites? I have no idea! But whatever! It''s definitely not the worst lie she''s ever told. - Reply to this comment
- I think MSNBC owes our troops in Iraq an Apology.

I think the Republicans who sent them there--and then didn''t support the new GI bill until it was clear that their election chances were in jeopardy if they didn''t--owe them a much bigger apology. - Reply to this comment
