Barracudas and humans...

Like sharks, barracudas have long had a bad reputation as being dangerous to humans. Barracudas have been observed following snorkelers and scuba divers across a reef, which can make one feel uncomfortable, but they are harmless unless provoked.

Being formidable hunters, they should be respected, as barracudas are perfectly capable of defending themselves against humans that harass them.

Go!! Go!! Barracuda Sarah!!!

If what you (Sarah) and Senator McCain are saying is the truth and you will stand up to the Washington do nothing crowd. Being seperate thinkers able to make positive change for this country and it''''s citizens.

Then I know many will come aboard and support your efforts. Politics has to change and become a helping hand to those in need. Also a hand up to those who are forward visionaries.

We need to set aside petty issues and concentrate on what will bring respect and honor back to the presidency. Other nations are watching and waiting to see what happens in this election. Will we show them our strength (unity) or our weakness (confusion & division).

Obama needs to experience failure so that he can learn humility and become a little more self deprecating.

Americans do not like arrogance. They never have.

During elections, the candidates must be humble.

I think when this election is over he will have learned to be a little humble. McCain is going to send him to the cleaners. Americans are fed up with him and his kind.

McCain: "Obama never took on own party".

How ludicrous.

McCain is part of the problem, not the solution.

McCain is part of Washington''s "good old boys club" and has been his entire term. To think he would do anything now to put down his old buddies is not in the realm of rational thinking.

And so it goes. Phoniness after phoniness from both parties. What is scary is that many people believe these things.

"It''''s the Repub party that has caused all our problems the last eight years. Highest debt in history, high unemployment, people losing their homes, no more credibility around the world."

Last time I checked, there were an awful lot of Democrats living in Washington and even a couple of Independents still. Aren''t we responsible for some of this?

McCain is a liar and a crook...does anyone remember the Keating Five, or Donald Diamond? And Palin is a younger, prettier version of McCain. Inform yourselves before you vote: http://community.adn.com/adn/node/130537

donbl1 at 03:11 PM, Exactly! Notice when Palin referred to winning the election, you used the work "IF"? The One uses the word "WHEN".

I don''t know where (from CNN?) you got that figure saying Obama voting 91% with Dem. And I don''t think CNN ever reveals any voting figures at all. Misrepresenting facts would not give Obama any advantage. (Still, 90% is better than 91%)

In fact, Washington Post showed Obama voting 96% of time with Dem.

One more thing. Obama does not have to buck his party since they are the ones with the issues on their side according to polls. Also Obama is not the one who is claiming to be the Maverick.

I guess those that are in favor of The One must have HOPE that things will CHANGE with his campaign downfall. Obama''s Hope and Change AND a $1.50 might get you a cup of coffee :)

5 battleground state polls will be released this afternoon.

IMHO, we will see a move towards the traditional Blue/Red state alignment.

THE key state is going to be Ohio.

Sarah will live in Ohio when she comes back from Alaska.

For any of you who think John McCain is suddenly going to start bucking the party faithful you are sadly mistaken. This election has shown that in order for him to get elected he has had to switch positions to the right in order to get the backing. He has even gone so far as to choose a far right VP in order to shore up the base. This shows in the support he has receved from the base since he picked her. Unless McCain is a lame duck he will tow the party line and continue to oppose legislation such as funding for alternative energy research because that doesn''t sit well with his base.

Chris Mathews and Keith Olbermann fired from the political coverage because of dismal ratings and poor manners.

NBC News has been embarrassed that they are even placed in the same company as these yo-yos.

Tom Brokaw said they were out of line.

Most interestingly, they were dead last in viewers for "both" conventions. I guess there are not that many far left liberals.
