- Pallin qualified? - Give me a break. This sounds just like something the ex-mayor of New York would say! The Republicans and John McCain do not run election campaigns - they run marketing strategies. Just like all product ads, nothing is real, everything is fake and staged to sell their product. Republicans might be good ad men, but they make lousy leaders.

- If she''s being touted as "taking on BIG OIL and "winning" I want to see the CONTRACT she reached.

- He also said Obama %u201Cis the least experienced candidate for president in the last 100 years."
------------
The Constitution has anticipated that this is one of those times when the country has to go in a new direction and new ideas and leadership are more important than the exposure to national politics people call ''experience.'' If experience was to be valued at all costs, we wouldn''t limit a president to only two terms. - Reply to this comment

- Gee, and the PHOTO OPS McCain is taking ADVANTAGE OF have NOTHING to do with it.
Sounds more like a "benefit" for McCain to use.
They certainly DIDN''T want to REMIND the people about the Bush/Cheney agenda.
This storm is a CONVENIENT EXCUSE to keep them away from the convention, save money, get FREE PUBLICITY since there''s NOT much in campaign funds.
My only question is Whatever happened to OUR WEATHER MODIFICATION program that we''ve been working on since at least the 1950''s.
The CHINESE GUARANTEED "good weather" about 2 years before the Olympics - are they THAT FAR AHEAD of us on that?
Speaking of the CHINESE:
On a SIDE NOTE - I have to laugh to keep from crying.
The Iraqis have reached an agreement to have the CHINESE control their OIL Fields.
So, we have OUR TROOPS fighting and dying to PROTECT CHINESE/IRAQI OIL FIELDS!!!!
Does ANYONE ELSE see the IRONY of this???? - Reply to this comment

- According to Guliani''s peculiar logic, Palin is also more qualified than McCain. McCain has never vetoed legislation nor administered a budget.
McCain and Obama have been going back and forth about who has better judgment. Obama opposed the Iraq war. McCain co-sponsored a bill to invade Iraq. McCain did favor the surge, and it has reaped positive results, but we should never have invaded Iraq.
One of the most important choices, particularly in this election, is the choice of running mate. We have a Republican nominee who just turned 72 and who, I hate to say, might die in office. And we have a Democaratic nominee who is the first black nominated for President who, I hate to say, might be assassinated in office by some wacko hate group. Obama chooses a U.S. Senator who has been in office since 1973. McCain chooses someone who has been governor of America''s 47th most populated state with a population of 685,000 for 21 months and had 2 stints as a mayor of a town with a booming population of 5,500. McCain chose, I hate to say, an unqualified token woman, instead of a qualified running mate. Obama chose someone imminently qualified (despite Guliani''s ridiculous VP qualification criteria).
Clearly, Obama has shown better judgment in these two important decisions. - Reply to this comment

Another rather vapid commment, when somebody as risky as Obama is on the other ticket. - Reply to this comment
