- The Karl Rove spin machine goes into high-gear! Double speak is what Karl has mastered. Rove says "I would make the argument that part of the reason why Senator Obama is in the shape he is in today is because he''s failed to run a positive campaign," said Rove. "He''s run a negative campaign. He''s claimed to be something new and different, and yet given these - you know, it is really beyond the pale to sit there and insinuate that Senator McCain is somehow going to attack him for being black, which is what he did for over a month." OMG! Now who is bringing in the race card? Rove loves his party so much he is/has been willing to sell his country down the river. Take a look at the past eight years. Stand back Karl, you lost your job because of the 2006 elections, what makes you think you can call the 2008 elections?

- CBS: please stop talking to criminals like Karl Rove and start reporting responsibly.
Has anyone else noticed that the news media has literally blacked out any of the violence being done on a daily basis in Iraq?
John McCain is running around saying "we''''re winning in Iraq," while Baghdad is still considered to be the most dangerous city in the world. Exactly what are we "winning," and why is the news media virtually absent there?
Sunday 10 August: 25 dead
Baghdad: bombs kill 16; 3 bodies found.
Diyala
Khanaqin: suicide car bomber kills 3.
Saadiya: gunmen kill policeman.
Ninewa
Mosul: bomb attached to car kills driver; 1 body found by river.
The facts are that there has been no improvement in the Iraqi governments control of violence between Shia, Sunni, and Kurds, and there has been no political reconcialiation between the warring parties. Our troops are not safe to walk the streets and must stay in their fortified bases.
Why are the "news" companies silent about this? Does anyone care? It''''s costing us two billion dollars a week with no end in sight.
Time to end the madness.

- Everyone on the Repub side, like Mr. Rove, keep saying, that with things so bad, how come Obamas is running away with the race. Two things with that. First, he''s a completely new face and no one knows who the guys is. 2nd, with so many lies about him, of course people are going to be hesitant. That''ll come in time...maybe. There seem to be more morons than smarties in this country so many people will base thier opinions on what they are told, not what they learn on their own. But let me ask everyone this: If experience matters so much and Obama doesn''t have any, how come McCain and his 26 YRS in the senate isn''t running away with this race? If judgment and experince are so important, one guy has spent almost half of the other guys life in Government, and he can''t get people behind him? What''s wrong with McCain?

- Well see, what if something had happened to the Decider and he had a flashback to his youthful alcoholic behavior and drank himself to death, then it would be President Cheney. Has a nice ring to it don''t it?
And certainly if Obama based his VP choice on a political calculation this would be the first time in history that such a calculation had been made. Nixon choosing Ford to win Michigan after George Wallace beat his tail there certainly had nothing to do with it did it Karl?
Don''t worry, the Repervican owned media and the dumbest leadership duo ever in Congress Pelosi and Reid will insure a Repervican victory for McBlame and the neocons and the Dems will only have themselves to McBlame. - Reply to this comment
