I worked in the govt and know what they can and have done. They are capable of anything. That is why it is necessary for the people to regain control of the govt. We only get to vote who they let us vote for. I love my coutry and do not want to see it destroyed by a civil war. If something isn''t done soon i think it will be too late.

I am sure you noticed in his comments he was talking down to you like he would a lap dog. Very common for men who have no self respect or respect for others.

I''ll let it go, people that are free to express their opinion good and bad have to be getting some therapy from it, it helped me take my mind off medical issues with my son. As you can probably tell, I''m new to this site and fresh meat to slice and dice.

It''s got to be Obama. His diplomatic skills and his reality orientation have already been recognized by leaders around the world. McCain, on the other hand, is seen as an old warrior who, while respected for his prisoner of war status, struggles with new paradigms and has great difficulty talking about anything except "winning" and "honor", which we all know translates into protecting American economic interest around the globe. Like Bush, McCain has become a prisoner of Neocon ideology; he''s trapped and so are we if we vote for him.

patriot12436, that is reasonable and a goal to strive for. My friend at the gym is similar to you, dislikes the Bush Admin. and is well traveled. I drive him crazy, but we are good pals and talk about a variety of subjects. So we can agree to disagree and still be civil. I''m not sure based on the posts here that many can do this. I voted for Bush twice and would agree to mistakes made, but to compare him to evil dictators is just too much for me. Hopefully, terrorist''s don''t hit here again because that will diminish any hope of concentrating on the betterment of the USA.

I didn''t see a further response from you so i hope my response satisfied your question. I have no quarrel with you even though i do not support obama. I think the only questions that are dumb are the ones not asked.

It is hopeless to try to teach someone who will not learn. I find everyday life to be a lesson in life and thigs do change. Now i am hoping we can change them for the better. We have failed so many times for so long.

I think bush is a total failure an i hope we try him for war crimes. My main concern is for America and to get us back to beling what other countries dream of having. This election like in the past leaves us looking for not the best man for the job, but the lesser of two evils. I travel extensively. I like to learn about other countries and wht their opinion is of America. It has been totally one concept. Other countries say we should stop invading other countries and quit trying to be the world police. I think they are right. We have tried war so often and it does not work, why not try sittig down and discussing our differneces with other countries and at least agree to disagree.
