- I served during Vietnam and I didn''''t get 4 years of tuition. I got $311 a month and was expected to pay for everything out of it.

- During the Vietnam Civil War all US 2 year draftees and enlistees had access to a GI Bill that payed for 4 years of college tuition, plus paid for room and board at the Vietnam Civil War veterans home state university of choice. John McCain now opposes a new GI Bill that would offer the same for any 3 year enlistee. Education is clearly an unnecessary benefit according to John McCAin for all who serve in todays US Military Welfare Complex.
