I talk with people all the time that voted for Obama, and they still have a favorable view about John Edwards also. Not to be argumentative, but as much as I''''d like to trust Obama, as it would give me great peace of mind to believe his claims, I have a problem with the flip-flop he did with his church, but I don''''t hate him, I just have a trust issue. I can''''t vote for McCain, and it looks like Clinton is off the ticket (unless the "dream ticket" comes true) so I''''m honestly and respectfully perplexed... what to do? $250k fine, per person, and one year jail )1st time offense, subsequent offenses double the sanction)for any employers hiring illegal labor, or otherwise trying to avoid paying standard wages, and observing worker safety rules. No judges'''' discretion, and if the business cannot pay, all assets, including the personal assets of the top management would be seized.
The problem should be tackled from the money side, the illegals will voluntarily go home if all their opportunities are filled by Americans, who will work for standard wages, commensurate with job type, but who will not work for slave labor wages.
