With Decision On Mich., Fla. Delegates, A "Fixed FInish Line" Over Nomination Is In Place
- The big MO has left Obama. Hillary is not hurting herself by staying in. Who''s been winning primaries most recently? Not Obama. Like many others, initially I was impressed with him. Now, despite the best efforts of the media, the more intelligent and moral people have lost enthusiasm for Obama. Remember, there are more than just black and white people in this country when you make your racist comments Obama supporters.

- I suppose it is also unamerican to point out the problems in the country and offer solutions.

- JoeCoolSwat, anyone who disagrees with you is unamerican? Many share Michael Moore''s opinions. I am proud to call myself one of them.

- o_nolan1, step away from the Kool-aid, please! Michael Moore? Maybe David Duke has a few thoughts on patriotism also?

- JoeCoolSwat, Kerry followed his conscience. He, like many other Americans who came back from Vietnam did not agree that they should have been there. He took an unpopular stance among veterans but popular among citizens. The same is happening now. Have you seen Farenheit 911?

- Obama and McCain basically have Hillary cornered two ways in a game of tic-tac-toe. At this point she would have to alienate, if not enrage, blacks (possibly for decades) in order to get the nomination. And she can%u2019t afford to do that, because she would lose in November without their support. The Republicans would have an absolute field day with that one.
The time to walk away with any dignity has long since passed, but by bowing out now and living to fight another day she can at least preserve the black vote for her party. - Reply to this comment
- PLAN A; TAKE IT TO THE CONVENTION
PLAN B: WRITEHILLARYIN.COM
PLAN C: RUN AS AN INDEPEDENT
Obama is one of the most racially divisive figures in American politics in the last 25 years. Publicly, he speaks in soaring rhetoric and platitudes,(thanks to Rev.Wright''s tutorage and privately, engages in dirty, back-room, old school Chicago politics, playing the race card whenever possible.(thanks to Axelrod & Plouffe''s "white racism")

Try this out, its served up alot better. Can you say HAMAS SUPPORT
Now, it has become the ISM%u2019s time to deconstruct religious dogma of Israel belonging to the Jews as is preached in US churches and to increase the number of black churches in America that are working in %u201Csolidarity%u201D with this program. Jeremiah Wright%u2019s church is one of them. Even though the national synod of the United Church for Christ rescinded a boycott and divestment plan against Israel, a wing of the UCC church keeps trying to get it reinstated. That wing includes Reverend Wright%u2019s Trinity UCC Church in Chicago. Few people know also, that there are many Muslim members of Reverend Wright%u2019s %u201CChristian%u201D church, a close ally of Sabeel.
Led by a Palestinian Christian pastor named Naim Ateek, Sabeel%u2019s purpose is as part of the ISM to especially convince churches in America that the diminishing Christian population in the West Bank, particularly Bethlehem, is not due to persecution by the Muslim majority in the Palestinian Authority against Christians caused Christian flight, but because of Israel%u2019s Jews and %u201Cthe occupation.%u201D - Reply to this comment
- Is there a White Caucus, that is exclusively for Whites....i think this black caucus is bad for america. Why doesnt somebody say something.
The Congressional Black Caucus is an organization representing the African American members of the Congress of the United States. Membership is exclusive to African Americans[1] and its chair in the 110th Congress is Representative Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick of Michigan. - Reply to this comment
- FOLLOW THE MONEY
hussein loves those earmarks,,,
Obama funneled a million dollars of federal money with earmarks to Obama''s wife hospital the same year she got a massive raise.

WHAT SEPARATION BETWEEN CHURCH AND STATE???
Earmarks to St. Sabina
In a Tribune story a year ago, Obama defended special budget earmarks for his district while he was a state legislator, including ones that went to programs associated with Pfleger''s church.
Pfleger gave Obama''s campaigns $1,500 between 1995 and 2001, including $200 in April 2001, about three months after Obama announced at least $100,000 in grants to St. Sabina programs.

- o_nolan1, I am not throwing my hands in the air just yet. I was addressing the veiled, childish threat that Ms. Grunwald threw out there. That the Clintonistas would vote for McCain, against their own interests, if their candidate didn''t get a re-thinking of the rules. They are acting like children who don''t get their way. So, I suggest, if they don''t like the rules of the game, they can take their ball and go home.

- jameshaun, 3994 delegates have been decided. 2071 are for Obama. If you think think this is a clear mandate, especially when Hillary is winning the popular vote, then you must be kidding yourself. I''m not saying Obama doesn''t deserve to win. I am saying that this is by no means an overwhelming endorsement. I wouldn''t throw your fists in the air just yet.

- Democracy is a funny animal. It''s reaction to reality is usually delayed by years and many of its reactions are to perceptions rather than reality itself. There are those rare and wonderful moments when reality and the will of the people march together in harmony. This election and whatever administration that will come out of it will not involve one of those moments, except possibly to be swept out of power by one. This conservative will bide his time and watch with a bit of amusement as the moderate Republicans and the progressives fight over scraps that they think are gold nuggets. The more damage they do to themselves, the better.

- Ms. Grunwald and her angry women might just want to consider that the process is not about winning the popular vote, but instead winning the most delegates. It has been that way since the beginning of the contest, so nobody is stealing anything from Senator Clinton. Additionally, her assertion that she has won the popular vote is dubious math at best.
If the spurned, angry ladies wish to vote for McCain- go ahead, I dare you! With two possible supreme court appointments in this next presidential term, voting for McCain could set back womens'' issues far more than a single lost nomination. Talk about cutting your nose off to spite your face!

- First, McCain is no hero. Ok he was a POW, but what else? He bombed innocent people to death from 35,000 feet. How is that a hero? Next, he voted for and still supports the war in Iraq. An illegal war! A war that saw the U.S. for no discernable reason, attack a sovereign country. Posted by rikito
I believe that John McCain''s should be commended for service to his country during a turbulent time in history. Is he a hero? I don''t think so. He was a prisoner of war and refused to let someone else do his time for him. If he had accepted this option, he would have gone down in history as a coward. He served out his time in Vietnam just like any other poor soldier who never had an out.
John Kerry learned the lessons of war. John McCain just repeats the mistakes. - Reply to this comment
