Says Party Superdelegates Should Not Overrule Popular Will Of Voters In Choosing Nominee
- I find it ironic that Governor Richardson is supporting Senator Obama when, under Governor Richardson%u2019s direction, New Mexico falls far short of Senator Obama%u2019s ideals.
The following is from Senator Obama%u2019s website:
Barack Obama has re-introduced the Responsible Fatherhood and Healthy Families Act to remove some of the government penalties on married families, crack down on men avoiding child support payments, ensure that support payments go to families instead of state bureaucracies, fund support services for fathers and their families, and support domestic violence prevention efforts.
The state of New Mexico has now taken over four years to collect the child support my former spouse has owed me for over 33 years
My former spouse has a history of violence and criminal activity. In January of this year, despite the notarized affidavit of non-disclosure I have had on file for years, New Mexico released my address and full current name to my former spouse.
In addition to the potential danger in which New Mexico%u2019s actions have placed me, the fact that they could make such a grossly negligent error potentially places thousands of women and children in danger as well.
One can only hope that now that he has endorsed Senator Obama for our nation%u2019s leader, Governor Richardson will attend to his own leadership.

OBAMA TIES TO HAMAS
The Jewish Telegraphic Agency today reports that the Wright, Jr., long-time pastor of Obama, published an op-ed piece signed by a Hamas leader. The item appeared in the July 22, 2007 edition of his Trinity United Church newspaper on the "Pastor''''''''''''''''s Page." Justifies attacks on Israeli civilians, and carries a supporting introduction by Mr. Wright.
Obama issued a statement strongly condemning these views of his pastor. "I certainly wasnt in church when that outrageously wrong [Hamas] piece was re-printed in the bulletin.
Obama is a long-time member of Trinity United, and his financial contributions to his church are reported to be substantial ("All told, the [Obama] couple gave $27,500 to [Trinity United] in 2005 and 2006," according to the New York Times of March 26). His moral support to the church has been unwavering. As more and more and more details of the extremist political positions of the church are revealed, Obamas response has been to distance himself from these, but also to repeat, over and over, that he didn''''''''''''''''t know, that he wasn''''''''''''''''t there.
I find it very difficult to believe that an intelligent, energetic, and very political man like Obama is perpetually ignorant about what goes on in the church to which he devotes so many of his resources. If he does get to the White House.... - Reply to this comment

- Of course he does not want the super delegates to vote, he may lose his promised position from Obama. Don''t think he stuck his neck out for nothing and turned his back on his own state''s preference.

- "Richardson should have stayed neutral. He forgot that voters in his state went for Hillary. Also, Richardson has looked pretty bad every time he tried to defend his endorsement on TV. (He stammered and stuttered.)

And what gives with the ridiculous beard he grew? Who (or what ethnic group) is he trying to kiss-up to? - Reply to this comment

- Saying that the superdelegates can''t vote for who they please is just wrong. They have every right to vote for the person of their choice. Just because their state choose one candidate does not mean they have to vote for them. Because the superdelegate is still an independant voter

- Well, now that Richardson says its the voters that decide, I guess he will now endorse Clinton since she won his state. Same with Kennedy,Kerry, Gov. of Mass since Clinton trounced Obama in that state.
Now that those four have been exposed as the traitors and hypocrits that they are, are their endorsments anything remotely important anymore? - Reply to this comment
