Massachusetts Senator Accuses Bush Of Leaving Iraq War For The Next President
- It sure seems to me that Senator Kennedy is right on this one. Bush has nothing to show for his Surge so it''s the same tired old line, "Stay the Course". We''ve been doing that now for 5 years and it hasn''t worked yet.

- I have read that the Kennedy family has a massive TRUST fund in Tahiti, so that all of the wealth from generations before and to come, will NOT BE TAXED. This is the same SEN. that wants you and me to pay even more . I would rather have a wide stance Senator that one who "cheats" all of us, by not paying his fair share of taxes.

What does YOUR opinion of Senator Kennedy have to do with this issue? This is WAY out of hand and has got to stop. It''s gotten to the point that American''s can''t have a honest discussion of ANY issue because you clowns and your Fascist like attitudes prevent that discussion. Let''s stick to the subject here, unless you have some HARD evidence other that "I have heard". It''s cheap and it''s stupid. - Reply to this comment
- Any of the pro war supporters here care to explain their interpretation of "progress", "success", or the ever popular "the surge is working"?
The first two should have been defined before this obscene mess even started, and the last should have been explained at the time it was spewed.
Again, I ask anyone here, what is meant by these terms. It seems to me they can only mean that the Iraqis:
1. Agree to stop resisting our illegal occupation
2. Agree to stop defending themselves from a hostile invader (us), who is kidnapping, torturing, and murdering their loved ones
3. Agree to let Bush steal their oil, with little compensation
4. Accept a puppet government, installed by the same hostile force mentioned above
If it is the case that no other definition can be offered, then this is clearly a treasonable, futile, dangerously ignorant, financially devastating, open ended and strategically fatal action we are engaged in
Thought I''d bring these questions in the pro war peeps are having a hard time with them.
Kennedy should start the impeachment call, but he, like all the other politicians, left and right, are too corrupt to jeopardize their cash cows. - Reply to this comment

By blaming the Government for our actions, those who pushed this "Blair''''s bombs" line did our propaganda work for us.
More important, they also helped to draw away any critical examination from the real engine of our violence: Islamic theology.

Our Prophet commanded us to fight the kaafirs when we are able and to attack them in their homelands and to give them three choices before we enter their lands: either they become Muslim and be like us, sharing our rights and duties; or they pay the jizyah (poll tax) and feel themselves subdued; or they fight, in which case their wealth, women, children and homes become permissible as booty for the Muslims.

- The one thing I like about a Kennedy news story is that it gives the frustrated right wingers a place to vent. Sure it''s venting out of complete jealousy that the Kennedy name will go down in American politics alongside of the greats, the giants that made this nation America like Lincoln, Washington and Roosevelt, whereas the right wing has names like Hoover, Nixon and Bush to live down. Let them prattle on about the comparative few weaknesses of the great political leaders in our nations history (history is already moving Bill Clinton into that select group), because they''re all just so humiliated that their side is left with the sh*it, the droppings of American politics. If they had any brains (or balls) at all they''d drop the losers that exemplify their side and come out of the darkness to the truth of the worlds future, progressives.

- Seems Bin Laden has an ally in America..THE REPUBLICAN PARTY! (AS EVIDENCED BY Bush ignoring Bin Laden and saying he was not a priority and disbanding the search unit tasked with finding Bin Laden AND the anger of the Republican Congress when the Democratic party brought the issue up again in 2006 and insisted the search unit be restored and funded again.)

- The citizens of Iraq need help. Not to be left to genocide as Ted Kennedy says He would do. What morals are being communicating here?

Iraqi citizens need help from Bush, like a woman who gets knocked up after being raped needs the rapist to be her delivery coach. Get a clue--WE caused all of this. - Reply to this comment

We created the mess in Iraq. Our invasion created a vacuum that resulted in everyone from everywhere trying to exploit the area and people.
2. Our invasion and bombing of Iraq destroyed the infrastructure so effectively that it has never even been brought back to prewar levels
3. Our presence and favortism to various groups ensured sectarian jealousy and violence and change Saddam''s selective murdering tenure into our indiscriminate wholesale, everyone can be tortured and/or killed clusterfvck
4. We expect Iraqis to be grateful for all of this AND to help us conquer them and show our war in successful.
5. We expect Iraqis and the world to make Iraq right and to step up and cooperate with us in our goals for them--even though these goals were imposed through war
Is that clear enough for you, stupid azz? - Reply to this comment
