CBS Management -
Don Imus and Production Team have been off the air long enough. Do you have no shame?
It is greatly past time to reinstate his show to CBS radio.
Best regards,
Richard Cowgill

If you really want something done, you can't rely on the moderators to do it. Send emails directly to the editors & producers. Look under "contact us" for the specific address. I've copied and pasted "abusive comments" and it works.

"He is a good man," Cheney said of Gonzales. "I have every confidence in him. The president has every confidence in him."

GOOD JOB BROWNIE comes to mind for some mysterious reason after reading about the confidence of Bush in Gonzales!
Remember; Bush was so confident of Brown he slaped him on the back on national TV and yelled GOOD JOB BROWNIE!!!!!

To truth832: As an American southerner, I thank-you for your post, it was excellent! I dearly love America. America is the greatest country on earth & the American people (North- South- East- West) are the best anywhere!

To seven-pesos: There's plenty of good that comes out of the south! Just like there's plenty of good that comes out of the west, north or east part of America; plenty of good from California; plenty of good from Hispanic people; plenty of good from southern people (black & white). There are good people everywhere in America right along with the bad. Good & bad African-Americans, Native- Americans, Hispanic- Americans, Caucasian- Americans; Americans of Asian, Middle East, Russian descent; Americans who are Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddists or Hindu or non- religious.
We all don't have to like each other, but we don't have to hate each other either.

Be tolerant!

"Cheney Steers Clear Of Libby Mess"

If he had any brains he'd be steering clear of the Iraq mess as well.

And in other breaking news...

"Sea lion attacks teen surfer girl"

[And it happened on Bush/Cheney's watch !!]

PERTH, Australia (AP) -- A sea lion leaped out of the sea and attacked a 13-year-old girl as she surfed behind a speedboat off Australia's west coast, a newspaper reported Sunday.

seven-pesos,

Yeah there are a lot of stupid people in the South, the types who couldn't even define the word 'conservative' and believe everything they do simply because someone in the GOP told them it was so. Whenever you have poor people voting for a party that's trying to reverse distribution of wealth and make them a permanent underclass, you know you're dealing with some serious morons.

However, I don't think it's the fact that they're Southerners per se that's at the root of the problem. It's religion. I still haven't figured out if stupid people become religious, or being religious makes them stupid, but it's clear that the same bone-headedness that causes them to vote against their own economic interests also makes them vote for a party that pretty much violates everything Jesus stood for (I don't think he would approve of wars of choice, or constant lying, or swelling the ranks of the poor so the rich can have tax cuts, and so on). You have to be pretty stupid to think that the greatest moral questions of our time are abortion and gay marriage.

Take a look at Utah or Iowa. Not Southerners, but poor stupid conservatives nonetheless.

Well if CBS won't let us call *** Cheney by his name, let's try some alternatives. Does Dork Cheney get through without asterisks?

And by the way, Mr. Seven-Pesos, you've expressed yourself quite clearly by now.

With respect to Scooter Libby: there's true grit and character displayed by the man who milked five deferments to avoid serving his country during an earlier disastrous foreign entanglement. Scooter Libby carries out Cheney's petty act of revenge upon Joseph Wilson because Wilson possessed the audacity to expose the truth about the Bush/Cheney fabrications for war. Libby participates in the Vice President's treasonous scheme to deliberately out an active CIA operation in order to carry out the political vendetta while silencing opposition in the intelligence community. Libby then takes one for the team, conducting a campaign of lies to cover for Cheney, commiting perjury along the way. And as payment for this loyalty...Cheney hasn't had the time to send his regards to his "dear friend." Lovely bit of character we elected in the form of Bush - Cheney. Makes you long for corrupt old Richard Nixon...he at least possessed foreign policy competence.
