Obama is in a real tiff today. He is seeing his future being flushed down the toilet just as fast as the stock market is falling. One day maybe he'll learn not to place blame elsewhere when he is the #1 dog in the country!

Down 535 at them moment!

Some people would call Axelrod a socialist pig.

I would add "UN-American".

He does not deserve a PODIUM from which to air his biased view.

The POST should be ashamed to print anything from Axelrod ,,,,

UNLESS ,,,,

The Post is a SOCIALIST PIG outlet!

Anytime you see this blowhard Axelrod, realize he is there to spin and deflect. That is ALL he does. Perception is reality in politics.

The Tea Party is promising us the same brand of "too big to fail-Wall Street bailout" Capitalism that Republican President George WMD Bush embraced. That doesn't seem to be a fresh idea for a "third" party. Maybe you folks can disband, rethink your stance on Corporate Welfare, and come back as the Tossed Salad Party.

Watching the debt-limit debate in Washington D.C. has convince me that Obama , the senate, and the House of representatives are dysfunctional in solving the challenges facing the United States of America.
Our military is made up of the army, navy, marines, air force, and the coast guard. Yet, its diversity in personnel and different assignments does not get in the way of working together.
A successful business has many different parts. Its focus is on the customer.
Washington D.C. is all about political careers and not the taxpayer who is paying all the bills. They could learn a lot from Silicon Valley in providing good products and services at a lower cost. Over budgeting, is not an option or another speech.
The recent downgrade by the S&P sovereign rating cmte is the USA's report card.
The Tea party had it right.

But—why would anyone assume that soldiers enlist ONLY because they love their country? What about a paycheck? Or, even worse, because they love violence and video-game-bred aggression?

We need to change the way we talk about the military, or we will always be at war.

Wrong and wrong.

It DID affect the market... and no comprehensive deal was reached because the president moved the goal post after tentative agreement was close. Remember?

No sorry I don't think it was the Tea Party in that case.

Axelrod and his chief Obama are truly in a state of denial. Certainly there is a community organizing position open that would be a perfect fit for a man of Obama's abilities.

I getting tired of the ongoing blame rhetoric with no progress. It is so easy to blame rather than come up with solutions and a viable plan. It's easy to call for compromise from your opponents, but it seems even harder to participate in the comprise that your calling for. We definitely need a leader who isn't bound by party lines regardless of how we got here. The focus should be on how do we get Americans back to work and producing.
