GOP are nothing more than a bunch of Elitists. And the Dems are puppets as well, doing nothing. We need to bring an end to all money spent overseas! I have not forgotten how the GOP lied and dragged us into a war. How, Obama met behind closed doors for his so-called health care reform and allowed the Health Care Mafia to call the shots. We have no democracy in the United States, that went out the window long ago in favor of the Elitists.

We are destroying our culture as a free people. We can not continue to put people on the welfare rolls. We have to put people to work. Our economic system can not sustain itself the way it is operated. The dems can not continue to redirect funds out of the private sector to pay their voters. The mind set of America has been majorly derailed by the dems attitude that the government should direct and manage peoples personal lives regarding how they manage their finances and their health care.

Its just hard to understand how some people can tell other people they need to spend more money on them. These corporations are not kings even though some people have made them out to be in their own minds. They are not here to take care of you. In America you take care of your own self at least that was how it was once before.

$3 trillion out of the $6 trillion in debt Bush left us with were caused by tax breaks. He had two wars he could not pay for and then cut taxes for the rich and corporations.

That was a completely reckless and irresponsible thing to do. This is what you would expect from an alcoholic trust fund frat brat that never worked a day in his life.

Is it not amazing that Bush, along with the wealthy oil cartels, led this nation into war, and gave the same wealthy slobs a tax cut and taxpayer subsidies at the same time? So, Bush and the wealthy GOP elite have decided that the American working people (translate: lower classes) should spend their money and children's blood in order to make them even wealthier. May they have a lot of karma coming their way.

Great Depression - Savings & Loan Debacle - Great Recession
Republican led positions and policies

Republican successive administrations
Republican super majorities most years

They should have lost their credibility to govern the nation a long time ago

People keep putting them back in, ignoring facts of history
Preferring the seduction of listening to idealistic statements to act in the best interest of the American People

History tells of the damage done

Since President Obama agreed to these tax rates over the last two years, this should not be called the Bush Tax Cuts - but rather called our current tax rates. If you want to attach a name, they should now be considered the "Bush/Obama tax rates".

Regardless, it is an idiotic idea to increase taxes on a nation that is struggling under so much unemployment. We have to seriously reduce the size and scope of the federal government.

The tax cuts (and two wars) are the single largest contributors to the deficit. Guess who signed the executive orders for them? Anyone, anyone..that's right the ol' decider did!

And let's not forget that Bush the Younger had the worst job creation performance since WWII. The WSJ blogged about this as Obama took office (see URL below). Anyone who still believes that tax cuts create jobs or stimulate the economy is an imbecile.

Why? Why does cutting spending have to always have to be hand in hand with tax increases?
