RobAla we are vastly under-regulating big business. In fact they have gone hog wild and turned us into a third world nation with one of every 6 children living in poverty.

We have let the capitalist fascists run the government for profit and they bankstered the economy. ALL of the government is elected, regulated and run by the military-industrial-financial complex. And guess what, they do not care about jobs, children and life on earth. We better wake up to this fact and bring these corporate CEOs to their knees before it is too late.

For the conservatives who keep citing unemployment stats,

By this point after the last comparable financial crash of '29 unemployment was at 24 %. What did you expect miracles?....................

The fact is the Republicon financial plan has been a disaster that has almost turned us into a 3rd world nation. In fact some 3rd world nations have better health care and social programs than us.

We are seeing the effects of 30 years of Reaganomics outsourcing, free trade and deregulation. The Republicons are a complete failure for America and we should get rid of them as soon as possible.

Wow! I cannot believe all the posters who still believe in the GOP.

Well, I thinks you folks need to stop acting like a bird brain and keep repeating the useless lies from Rush Limbaugh..

Let's get a grip GOP supporters. We all know that the GOP has a better chance to win the Whitehouse if the economy falls off a cliff like it did in 2008.

We all know the GOP is in control of the house of representatives who control the budget.

We all know that private investers are still not spending so most of the economy is being driven by public expenditures.

We also know the GOP has declared war on unions and has an agenda to eliminate them because they vote in democratic majority.

Therefore, it is not unreasonable to know that they are going to kill the budget in hopes of creating a "controlled" recession to increase unemployment with the ultimate goal of getting the Whitehouse back.

They are only puppets of big money that can easily ride out a controlled recession and buy up all the forclosed homes for larger future profits.

Please use your heads and realize that this is the truth! If you have any doubts google Governor Walker's conversation with David Koch.

Wake up before the top 400 have it all.

We have a Constitution in the USA. It stipulates separation of powers.

No, I will not answer a flawed question asked by someone who refuses to understand the way the government is established in the USA.

It is increasingly obvious that the people who come to these comment boards that support the Republicans/conservatives are willfully ignorant of the facts.

Folks, you can rant all you want -- it means nothing unless your point is based on the truth and verifiable facts.

Disagree with me all you want, it doesn't give you anything more than the one vote you had before you decided to ignore what occurs in the real world.

Democrats and Republicans have blame for bad policy. The private sector is also culpable -- including "we the people" (it is called personal responsibility).

Just saying "you are wrong, I am right" does not fix anything.

So, use your ONE VOTE wisely. That is all you have in this representative Constitutional Republic.

Good day.

Did you notice that he absolutely ignored the fact that Obama has the power to put 8 million of our unemployed back to work by simply forcing 8 million illegal workers out of our jobs?

And did you know that Obama and the majority of Democrats still support amnesty for 11-20 Million illegals in this country while 22 million unemployed legal immigrants and citizens can't find a job and many more are struggling to survive? We don't have to deport the illegals-when their jobs and benefits are taken away, most will leave on their own because they have no reason to stay!!!!!

The premise of Schumer's questioning is absurd! Obama had both houses of congress for 2 years and they passed one spending bill after another and made the jobs situation worse.

Pahgre, you people have nothing but partisan talking points, tell us what the four year unemployment rate has been and why. Has Obama's stimulus worked? What will the DEms do next? They are still in control of the senate with a sitting president. Why have they not come up with a budget bill in over 800days and counting? Weren't they in total control when the budget bill was due?, oh that's right it came due right before the last election, LOL!

I thought that abortion was the top priority for the country based on the number of bills passed in the House.
