- When deciding whether either party serves YOU take a look at the national debt. Obama has increased it to 13.2 trillion dollars. If we were to apply even the credit card reform minimum payment rule the payments would be 520 billion dollars per year.
If no more debt were incurred it would require in excess of 50 years to pay off the debt at this rate. Instead the Obama budget includes a 164 billion dollar interest only payment, IOW the debt will never be reduced. BTW 67 billion dollars of the 164 billion is borrowed money.
The debt commission does not even report until after the November elections, what does this tell you about transparency? The CBO has a dire projection that if not addressed soon the interest payment alone will be 900 billion dollars per year by 2012. I am sure you can see where this is going, FREE-FALL!
Now I ask is the media addressing this, or just me? Why is the media avoiding the crisis? Can it be that the watchdog media has become a compliant water-boy media? Have you asked your senators and representative about this? Will you copy and paste to share with family, friends and complete strangers? - Yeah, I would have to say that that's true. The same thing happened to Jesse Ventura when he was Governor of Minnesota. The state GOP in particular said that his idea(s) was/were good but that he'd get the credit. I think the same thing is happening to a lesser extent in Washington. Obama's GOP opponents don't want to give him any credit because it wouldn't look good for them because they and their supporters are in a vulnerable state right now, with a lot of insecurities. For someone like myself who grew up in the Reagan era, I don't even know what the party truly stands for anymore. I also believe that they are jealous of the President, hence all the pettiness. In other words, the GOP have become what they used to denounce the Communists for during the Cold War and what the Democratic Party became in the late 1960's and early 1970's: drunk on power.

- When he makes statements like this it is obvious why he doesn't have any success to give him credit for.....he's talking about how wonderful Medicare is going to be under his health plan...."Beginning next year, preventive care -- including annual physicals, wellness exams, and tests like mammograms -- will be free for seniors as well," he said. "That will make it easier for folks to stay healthy."

- Only 18 monthes ago Bush & Corporate America had our country on it's knee
s with the auto industry folding, the stock market so low retirement funds we're wiped out, the workers we'er just starting to be fired by Corporate America, millions of American's losing their homes, and bank after bank failing. To top that off Bush & Cheney had us in two, modern day Vietnams, destroying and then rebuilding paid from our pocket books as Corporate America, paid no tax's, but becoming rich from war supplies. I know I put President Obama on a pedistal sometimes, but even he can't rebuild two foreign countries, and take us out of a mini-depression in only eighteen month's. It took Bush the rest of the Corporate American puppets 8 years of Corporate biased legislation to bring us to our knees. We must band together and support Obama and his workers' party as we did Nov 4th 2008. Change is working, faster than you realize. In 18 monthes the auto industry went from failure and firings, to success, profits and rehiring of 50,000 workers. We got a long way to go, but we're off of our knees heading in the right direction. Job's are coming, it's time. Nationwide interstructure moderization is about ready to start, alternative energy plants are opeining everyday. Corporate America books show profits of trillions, yet they refuse to hire, hoping Obama fails, so that their Corporate Puppets return to the majority to pay back the favors. No tax's, to contrary they want incentives, Cash, to hire out of work Americans. We must come out as we did in 2008 and re-elect our democratic majority. If the Republicans return to power, the common man will be just slave workers for the non taxed Corporations, as our tax'es go thru the roof.
