- Let's look at some of President Obama's incompetent accomplishments.
Obama's Health Care reform, provides vision and screening tests for children as well as counseling for overweight children, at no out-of patient costs. In addition, the well-baby program provides pediatrician visits for expectant mothers and their newborn babies. It also provides breast and colon cancer tests, screenings for pregnant women for vitamin deficiencies, as well as test for diabetes, high cholesterol and blood pressure. Lets I forget, Obama care also provides incentives for physicians to remain as general practitioners and the student loan reform, saves prospective college students, including future doctors, thousands of dollars because it cuts out greedy middlemen, like Ben Nelson's pet project NelNet.
Is this incompetent?
The banking reform bill provides consumer protection from greedy credit card companyes and pay day loan sharks. It prevents a lot, but not all, the Wall Street shenanigans that brought us the meltdown. Credit agencies will have to register with the SEC and they will be held accountable if they give bad advice. Mortgage lenders would have to make sure that their clients can repay their loans, and they will have to disclose the highest mortgage payment a mortgage holder could face under the ARM. Economists agree that the stimulus project did produce millions of jobs. Now that the stimulus funds are running out hundreds of thousands of teachers, firemen, and policemen will join the unemployment lines. You might want to check out OriginOil and AlgaeVenture Systems. Both of these companies have discovered revolutionary ways to get oil from algae. (Der Spiegel, an German magazine, just featured an article on an airplane that flew on aviation fuel obtained from algae.)
And finally, Obama has the courage to the lynch mobs in Arizona and protect millions of Latino citizens from deportation and police harassment, even though this means low poll ratings. He is also trying to protect our nation's air and water from polluters.
Obama is doing all this IN SPITE of a carefully orchestrated hate and smear campaign.
Yes Obama's plans are incomplete. Everything that Obama did involved compromises with a bunch of religious and ideological fanatics. We still have a long way to go. For openers we need to raise the tax rate of the rich to provide middle class jobs for the unemployed, since Wall Street will only hire Americans if they are willing to work at sweat shop wages. But let's give Obama credit for what he's able to accomplish.
The real problem is not Obama, but the Republicans in the Senate who block everything this country needs because they are puppets of Oil Companies and Wall Street. - Reply to this comment

THE TRAGEDY OF DETROIT -- Muslims Take Over
As a United Van Lines truck driver for my summer job from teaching math and science, I loaded hundreds of American families into my van for a new life in another city or state. Detroit plummeted from 1.8 million citizens to 912,000 today. At the same time, legal and illegal immigrants converged on the city, so much so, that Muslims number over 300,000. Mexicans number 400,000 throughout Michigan, but most work in Detroit.
As the whites moved out, the Muslims moved in. As the crimes became more violent, the whites fled. Finally, unlawful Mexicans moved in at a torrid pace. Detroit suffers so much shoplifting that grocery stores no longer operate in many inner city locations. - Reply to this comment

You can not generalize. How do you know that the crime is being causes by these newcomers ? Every immegrant group had periods of adjustment and absorption. Who are we to judge ?

I read that the last grocery store in urban Detroit closed a number of months ago.

- Does Obama mean screwing the bond holders, giving his union friends the breaks and bailouts, and trying to make us drive little, unsafe, electric cars when there is still plenty of oil and gasoline? Most out here are still waiting for any sign of leadership from him. Don't expect to see much in his remaining time in his first and last term. He won't be able to control Congress after the November mid-terms.

- The only credit that should be attributed to Obama is the spending on credit that is bankrupting our nation.The national debt is now 13.2 trillion dollars with no relief in sight, in fact Obama's budgets will double the debt in five years and triple it in ten. If we were to apply rules implemented as a part of credit card reform. The current debt payment would be some 520 billion dollars per year representing the 4% of the balance rule. This rule was established to keep credit card users out of the trap of paying 22 years on a 1000 dollar balance. If the governmnet were to pay the recommended minimum instead of the budgeted interest only payment of 164 billion dollars it would require 50 years to amortize the national debt.
If debt payments of only 320 billion dollars per year were paid it would take 100 years, if we continue the 164 billion dollar payments the answer is never! If we keep going on the Obama/Pelosi/Reid triad's spending plan by year 2020 the interest payment alone will be 900 billion dollars and there will be no hope for resolution. - Reply to this comment

- It's a wonder all their arms aren't broken from patting themselves on the back. His statement about the National problem on immigration, shows the real NATIONAL problem is Obama and the Democrats! Every bill they have passed has been a vote against the citizens! He needs to to back to Chicago and continue his corrupt policies there. We the people need the hope and change, that will come once he gets out of our lives!
