- Is the US CODE UNCONSTITUTIONAL?
US CODE TITLE 8 > CHAPTER 12 > SUBCHAPTER II > Part VIII > ? 1325
? 1325. Improper entry by alien
TITLE 8 > CHAPTER 12 > SUBCHAPTER II > Part VIII > ? 1324a
? 1324a. Unlawful employment of aliens
WE DO NOT NEED IMMIGRATION REFORM. WE NEED IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT.
ENFORCE THE LAW
We should treat immigrants like Mexico does:
At present, Article 67 of Mexico's Population Law says, "Authorities, whether federal, state or municipal ... are required to demand that foreigners prove their legal presence in the country, before attending to any issues."
That would simplify things. - Reply to this comment
- This is not an Arizona problem, this is a problem of Washington not doing it's job and manning our borders.
Drugs, criminals enter with ease. People are coming in that we know nothing about.
Shooting at lawmen, citizens - What a travesty!
I don't know what's going on in Washington but this has gone on too long and MUST change. - Reply to this comment
- Not seeing any IAI's on this message board. You all need to switch to another board that has lots of them so you can stir up all kinds of emotion.
All IAI's should be hanged. - Reply to this comment
- Of course we know that our local Unions had their members out recruiting these well-educated illegal immigrants to their ranks for up coming strikes to demand better pay and healthcare from the citizens.
Can a Union be charged for hiring illegal immigrants?
Time to expose these Unions for driving our government into Bankruptcy.
Boycott Mexico!! - Reply to this comment
- They need to register for legal status. They need to start paying taxes. They are here because this is a great country, and we have it so good here. But we pay taxes to have it so good, and the illegal immigrants are here getting it for free. They need to register and start paying taxes like the rest of us, or get kicked out of here. I don't care what color their skin is, but I do care that they are taking and not giving.

- Quotes from this piece and the other cbs piece that didn't allow comment:
Manuela knows she broke the law when she came here 15 years ago. But she doesn?t see herself as a criminal.
"A criminal is someone who kills," she said in Spanish. "I just want to work."
======and here is part of the problem. The Hispanic illegal alien invaders think that the only law they must obey is to not kill anyone. This is from your average illegal, not a gangster. Let's just repeat it for emphasis ?a criminal is someone who kills?. This makes robbery, selling drugs, shoplifting, et al., all OK and not criminal behavior? As to the rest ?I just want to work?, it?s scary how well she has learned the party line. I?m sure there arte plenty of US citizens in her town that ?just want to work? too, but aren?t employed because an illegal is. When you consider this persons definition of who a criminal is with complete denial of US law, are these really the ones that we want as citizens? People who think they get to choose which laws to obey!
Quote #2 ? from this story:
?Jessica (who asked us not to use her last name) said, "They don't see the difference of the ones that are working, that have babies here, that are trying to live a life here, that abide by the laws of the United States. They don't see that."
Jessica's mate, the father of her child, Gerardo, asked us to conceal his identity. He crossed illegally from Mexico four years ago.
"I got no papers. I got different color," said Gerardo.
Now Jessica, born in the U.S., is packing up, fearing they might have to flee their home, because of the new law.
"Yes, sir, we're gonna be leaving if things don't change."
== Whoo Hoo, looks like Arizona found the magic bullet. If we do this in all 50 states, maybe they?ll all leave!! Of course, since AZ is the only state that has this law, the ones that leave won?t be returning to their land of origin, they will relocate to other states. Oh goody! Again, ole Gerardo can recite the ?party line?, ?I got different color,?.
If Americans decide that these are the people that we want to ?allow a path to citizenship? to, so be it. If Americans want to remain a country of laws and have the freedoms that we enjoy by virtue of being US citizens then we better make sure that our legislators hear us. If they won?t listen, we need to elect ones that will.
THIS IS OUR COUNTRY, FOUGHT & PAID FOR (the US did buy CA, TX, AZ, etc from Mexico after all). - Reply to this comment
- The use of characterizations to define the topic.
Chiefly the use of the term 'Race' (which is an inseparable part of anyones
physical makeup) as being the single motivation in these matters has been a disservice to everyone.
Promoted by people who had access to the power of mass media; the means to interject and promote the terminology used in the discussion. These terms were taken to heart and believed by some.
Today that terminology is augmented, changing slightly, to define the response of Americans as motivated by "Fear".
Yet another misc-characterization of the set of facts that have not changed since day one.
Those facts:
America has to control it's own borders.
America has to control the numbers of people crossing the border.
America has to control equivocally, who crosses the border.
The human discomfort that has resulted from choosing to ignore existing Laws, is in part the direct result of promoting the mis-conception, though the media and other means, that individuals have a 'right' to cross the border dispute the existence of Law prohibiting it.
Americans (I shouldn't have to add this, but we are; black, white, brown, yellow, ...) are not responsible for that.
The more responsible and humain thing for spokespeople and others to do in the light of these kinds of facts;
is to suggest to people that they not continue to put their lives and the lives of their families at the mercy of those same spoke peoples ability to manipulate the sympathies, and thinking f Americans in general and American politicians; the more responsible thing to do would be to influence people to apply for Citizenship through the established mechanisms where appropriate.
Thereby reducing the occurrence of the inhuman discomfort that is described here. - Reply to this comment
- Illegals? It's ***not enough*** just to have those foil-smelling oids make an exit from AZ. They need to be ***returned to sender***. And the 'anchors' and anchorettes need to be cranked up and shoveled out the exits, too.

- I think it's about time someone had the stones to stand up to all the bleeding hearts and do something about the unchecked influx of two legged vermin into this country and I applaud Arizona for taking the step it has. I think it can go farther, perhaps offering a bounty to legal citizens on every illegal they catch and turn over to authorities DEAD (Preferably) or alive. In addition, anyone who gives jobs or sanctuary to illegals should be subject to crippling fines and imprisonment. From my own experience I know that the majority of these people come here to siphon off on the U.S. Welfare state. An apartment building near my home was burned to the ground when a member of one of the FOUR families living in a single family unit forgot to pay attention to the stove. I for one am outraged that we bend over backwards to accomandate these "Invaders", with bi-linguel packaging, television broadcasts, etc. You don't see any other ethnic group being so catered to do you? It's time we as Americans stand up and deal with this plauge and strive to erradicate it!
